| Stephanos (18), , Northern Ireland | | July 13, 2011 Just visited today for the first time after 18 months.
Like a museum of fine wines with a sizeable beer selection. It also stocks decent single malts and other spirits.
Very friendly and help provided when needed otherwise you’re left alone to browse at your own pace.
Rated a fifteen for selection, as in comparison to all other off licences in Northern Ireland it is leagues ahead with around 200 beers from GB, belgium, germany and america (plus a few odds and ends). All Northern Ireland beers currently available in bottle are on sale here.
Odell/Anchor/Paulaner/Schnieder/Brewdog/Sam Smith’s plus many more besides.
Taking into account the shipping paid on most of these beers the prices are very fair and I came away with 12 bottles for around £30.
Must return again soon to pick up some other beers. | | douglas88 (117), Salt Lake City, Utah | | September 13, 2010 A busy store on the Ormeau. A nice selection of Whitewater, some ciders from NI, a few BrewDogs and some other interesting things. Nothing rare, but the local selection is quite good. | | redsandwiches (10), | | January 14, 2010 very impresseed, a bit to go to compete with the great stores down in Ireland’s south. |
