Good beer and good food at decent prices. (even for beeing in Norway) Try the dish "plankstek" with their own beer "nabo bayer" perfect start for a good night of drinking. My impression is that their selection is based mostly on norwegian micro-breweries, which is nice for a change.

A pub and a restaurant with a fancy restaurant serving excellent food at the ground floor, and a real pub experience downstairs in the basement. The food in the pub is also very good. A very small pub so get there early in the weekends to get space at a table or in the bar. One of few places serving beer from Kinn Bryggeri from the brewery’s own english-style hand pump. A good selection of norwegian beers on bottle as well. One of the best places in Bergen to get nice food and a good pint.

Pretty good selection of Norwegian Microbrews in the cellar/bar part of the place. Make sure you try the regular bitter, which is brewed by Kinn and available only here. The restaurant was pretty good and specialized in traditional Swedish dishes which was a good bargain. I had a fish dish with mashed roots and a mustard sauce, which they matched with Kinn Veskyst IPA when I asked for a recommendation. Worked pretty well. I’d go here again. 02.11.11

A nice pub with good pub grub located in central Bergen. Looks somewhat like a dark basement. A good selection of Scandinavian beers including cask ales. The staff could know more about beers, but the prices are quite nice. Try the burger the next time you are there.

Mostly Norwegian beers here, but the prices are quite high. On the other hand, the food is very good and inexpensive compared to other Norwegian places, so if you just want a beer to your dinner, this might be the place. I wouldn’t recommend staying here all night although, unless you’re made of money.

A nice basement-based bar with a nice selection, mainly of Norwegian beers. Their standard lager is Aass (not Hansa or Rignes like 90% of all other places in Bergen has) and they always have either Kinn, Nøgne or Haandbryggeriet on tap. They serve great food from the resturant upstairs and the staff have been friendly the times I’ve talked to them.

04.10.2010.I really like thisplace. Quiet music in the background is perfect if you want to talk to your friends. The selection is fairly good andtoday they had a lot of beers I have not tastet. But I only had time for one, and I tasted Kinn Svart Hav. Good service.

Attractive restaurant on the ground floor. The pub Nabokjelleren in the basement is a rather gloomy and poorly lighted place, but has a fairly decent selection of beers. Two handpumps with beers from Kinn Bryggeri are the main attraction here. One beer from Ægir Bryggeri is usually also on tap, while Nøgne Ø, HaandBryggeriet and Aass are also represented. The "secrecy" gimmick about the origins of Naboen’s "own " Bayer (dunkel) is just ridiculous. Did not eat when we visited.

Located in downtown Bergen, Naboen offers food inspired by Swedish cuisine and specializes in Norwegian beer. Their pub cellar is a cozy, down-lit place populated by a diverse crowd. Popular with students. Pretty good selection on tap , with some rather rare Norwegian micros popping up occasionally (cask beer on tap from Kinn brewery last time I was there). Holds a good stock of seasonals and staples from Nøgne Ø, Haandbryggeriet, Ægir and Atna. Friendly and fairly knowledgeable staff, but I really wished they would have a wider international selection.

Small cellar pub under a top notch restaurant.This place seem to be crowded even during week days, and the bartenders really cares about the beer served here, very knowledgeable and service minded staff. Haandbryggeriet and Nøgne Ø on tap, makes this one of my favourites in Bergen
