A very nice little pub with a good selection of local and imported beers, including Nøgne Ø. Norwegian prices but worth checking out. This was the bar we spent most of our time in, nice selection and atmosphere. Hearty local food too.

The Penguin is nicely located @ the best beer-area of Bergen and is a nice little mainly student targeting place where they in addition to beer serve good traditional home made food. Recently they have updated their beer portfolio and is now as the only available place in Bergen serving Nøgne Ø - Aku Aku Lemongrass and Waldemar Export. Theu also have a OK selection of bottles, but this is more standard bottles you can get at almost any place. It’s decorated with some old furnitures where you can eat and has your typical bar-chairs facing the windows. A nice place to read your newspaper, have a beer and perhaps eat a reasonable meal after work.

Located near Naboen and Henrik. A somewhat hipster hangout. A little crowded and a large bar in the middle. An OK selection of micros and one of the few places one can get Waldemar on tap (maybe not a plus). Good food. What we Norwegians calls "husmannskost". Also have a moderate selection of spirits.

Good place witch converts late in the night to bar. Good selection of beers including micro’s and other alcohol. Service was good and friendly.

OK selection of beers. The food menu consists mainly of traditional Norwegian meals. One of few places in Bergen where you can order food until closing time (02:30). Seems to be the place to meet local celebrities. The service, however, is not good. The bartenders are unpolite and not very helpful.

A friendly haven in Bergen centre. Had my traditional breakfast here, served until 16:00..... Nice selection of Norwegian micros. Woman behind the counter knew the beers realy well, and were interested in telling about them. Nice place close to Naboen.

Went here based on this site’s ratings. Service was helpful if slow. Good business. I had the traditional dried salted cod with bacon. Don’t think they rinsed the cod enough- really salty! Great presentation and the rest of the serving was great. Lot’s of people ordering the same thing which looked like some sort of pork knuckle or something and sausage with some good veggy sidedishes. A few Norwegian micros, a couple macros and some world beers. Sat at the bar. nice inside. friendly patrons. Would go again.

Open till late, always popular with the 20-30s crowd. Serve traditional norwegian food, quality generally good but not great.

Youth place that is more pub than restaurant. Cosy place for not more than 35-40 people but very expencive for croatian occasion. Also good traditional Norwegian food.

Student and end of the road place to go in Bergen because it has license to open until 3am. Good selection of bottled beers and affordable prices to be in Norway.
