paulys55 (2), Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | February 14, 2012 Great selection of both American and imports. Prices are decent and it is fairly well organized. Emma is great if you need help finding something and their email blasts keep you up to date on new arrivals. Definitely the best place to get beer in our area. | | msante79 (253), Mount Prospect, Illinois | | September 5, 2011 Pretty nice bottle shop. Very impressive selection including a very nice singles selection. Ton of nice imports and nice variety of brewers to select from. Definitely worth a stop. | | Dfonorow (37), Hoboken, New Jersey | | January 5, 2011 Tiny bottle shop in the middle of downtown Bethlehem that does mix six packs on every single beer in the store. The people who run it were very helpful and answered all of my questions about availability of certain beer. Prices were about average for the area, a bit low possibly. Found some really good stuff and they change up the inventory almost every day it seems. If you are in the area it is worth it to check it out. | jsmerig (1), Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | December 10, 2010 Great Selection. Helpful staff. BeerWoman emails those on the list when new stuff arrives. Missed the delivery of Infinium, but I did catch Biitches Brew before it was gone. Prices are good. As an example I picked up a Corsendonk for $4 less than two other places in the area. | | beerbill (80), Laurel, New York | | July 23, 2010 Stopped in during a recent trip to PA. One of the better beer stores I have come across in PA. Very nice selection of singles, which I have never come across in a PA store thanks to their stupid case law. Saw a bottle of RR Damnation on the shelf along with a nice selection of beers from Lost Abbey, Port, Ballast Point, Bruery, Bells, just to name a few. Service was a little lacking, but I think it was more because they were tied up with proofing a line of young people that were buying beer. Definitely worth stopping by. | | Listigovers (12), Toronto, Ontario | | June 26, 2010 Best selection in the Lehigh Valley, staff really cares about their beer and knows a lot. Constantly getting new things. Not much to look at, imagine a place the size of a larger convenience store, except with shelves stacked to the ceiling with excellent Belgian, American, British, Canadian, and other European beers. They’ve got some rare finds if you’re willing to shell out (Cantillon, Gose, Deus, etc.) but average prices for the quality you’re getting. Mix-and-match 6-packs are a GREAT idea and hard to find something like that in Pennsylvania. Great store, always spend too much, but never regret it :) | | r464 (12), Earth, Pennsylvania | | May 1, 2010 [ Updated February 25, 2012 ] Great helpful and knowledgeable people with a focus on imports and micro brews. There are not many places in the area to pick up such a selection, let alone by the bottle or six pack. Rare things come and go fast, so it is always interesting to see what is new when you come in. Things do not sit and gather dust, so you can expect bottles to be fresh. Good people with a good attitude. Check with them for things on order. There are a few packaged snack items, but this is not a place for food. They get the Weyerbacher specials that are not usually available apart from at the brewery itself. Email updates are available as well as info on their website. | | Chalsk (39), North Caldwell, New Jersey | | April 5, 2010 Great spot. Drove over the river from NJ to get some Hopslam and Sculpin. Great selection. Great service. Can mix and match singles. | | alobar (43), Lansdale, Pennsylvania | | February 15, 2010 Simple place. Never had the food. Always visited as a bottle shop. Great selection and great prices. Abe and Emma are super helpful and very friendly. | | JFURYCAT (37), East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania | | May 15, 2009 Why do we have two listings here for the same place on RB?
This is the best bottle shop I’ve seen in NE PA. Their selection was so good with its stock of Bruery, Ballast, Lost Abbey (they ran out of Angels Share), Founders, Southern Tier, Voodoo, Bear Republic, Cantillon, Unibroue, Avery, Troegs, Victory, J.W. Lees, Harviestoun, etc that I asked if they had Russian River. Behind the counter they had the last bottle of Damnation for $15.
They have a new parking lot in front. Abe and Emma were friendly and helpful the whole time.
I could easily spend a fortune here. Prices are good and there are mix an match sixers for $11.75 for bottles that don’t have stickers. |
