| UDBeernut (53), Saugerties, New York | | April 22, 2012 Dinner here last night. Selection is good, had the Alt and Pils... Both were tasty. Fish tacos for dinner did not disappoint. Good value, Worth a visit. | | DiarmaidBHK (307), Pennsylvania | | June 5, 2011 Lots of brick and steel which is part and parcel with Bethlehem’s history. They have 10 beers on tap and about 40 different Belgians in the bottle which is an odd combo. The beers were hit and miss for me. The stuff I didn’t like I was indifferent to but the stuff I liked, I really liked. I thought the hefe was fantastic. The cheeseburger was quite tasty as well. It’s 10 bucks for a flight of 6 beers but they were fairly big pours. Plenty of parking behind the building. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the area. | | ssb2much (10), New Jersey | | January 27, 2011 Beer is great. food is great. enough said already. but wait theres more. Try the sampler to get your own opinion of the beers. Try the beer soup its really good. Breweries are the best, its the freshest beer. | | BiddleBrau (58), Fort Washington, Pennsylvania | | January 14, 2011 Multi-level place with beer, food, music, people. I’ve been a few times and it’s always busy. Upstairs bar is surrounded by dining tables, downstairs was a little mellower earlier in the evening. They meet the needs of the many with good food and good beer in a nice, clean active and modern establishment. Good for Jeff and family, the place is doing great. Go Lehigh Swimming. | MercyDevice (4), Pennsylvania does not count - explanation | | October 14, 2010 The food here was outstanding. I ate until I was stuffed. The beer is even better. The beer on tap was great, and they also had a great selection of Belgina beers to choose from. The service was good and the prices were very reasonable. | | BREWMUSKCLES (74), New Jersey | | August 15, 2010 big live brew joint with food. couple of tv.s and enough space on a couple different levels. they have a Belgian type lounge downstairs that is dark, and perhaps cozy if not cavey. sleepy staff that are friendly enough. they make a lot of beers but only had 4 on tap that day. pretty decent food. i like the lay out of this place and everything seemed nicely affordable. | | Listigovers (12), Toronto, Ontario | | May 22, 2010 [ Updated July 17, 2010 ] Service could have been better. Food was good and fairly priced, most entrees around $10-15. Beer sampler is cheap cheap cheap, $8.50 for 6 draft samples? That’s pretty good! Some of their beers are good, some are just okay, but overall a worthwhile visit if you’re in the area.
edit: ambience updated to 5 based on how awesome the Steelgaarden is and selection updated to 12 based on the amazing Belgian selection it has. | | italianjohn (127), Penndel, Pennsylvania | | April 19, 2010 Neat old bulding in the downtown looks like an old store front. Hung out in the lounge downstairs .... low lighting with candles .... played pool and tried some brews at the bar .... had plenty of young people down there ... upstairs was full of seating and food .... definitely a cool hangout in the downtown and the beer was a little above average ... didn’t try the food here, but i’d go back again | | alobar (43), Lansdale, Pennsylvania | | February 15, 2010 Nice place. Has a "steel" kind of feel to it. Food is always good. Prices decent. Growlers and samplers seem to be an especially good bargain. | pal123 (7), New Jersey does not count - explanation | | October 9, 2009 Good food, good beer at a fair price. And in the same building as Ketstone Home Brew Supplies. What more could one ask. |
