Review for online shop, now sadly in administration. Prices and service were excellent. Range wasn't the best, mostly British with not so many of the more hyped breweries

One of the few netstores that will ship to Norway. I have ordered from them 4 times by now. I recommend ordering 24 beers at a time, the cases they use are good quality, and nothing has been broken in these 3 cases. The first time I ordered only 12 beers, one bottle was broken in that case (thinner quality, rough handling during shipping). I got a refund for the broken bottle, but had to pay the customs. General advice for Norwegians: It does not in any way "pay" to order beers to Norway from abroad - the customs + shipping will set you back many £££. If you do buy anyway, it must be because you are a ticker and beer geek - like me. Ales By Mail will be your best bet. Their selection of British craft ales is very good, and they also have a few foreign beers. Recommended!

Very good online store you can work it to make it cheaper by the bottle so gives you some scope to get a real good order together I was very pleased with them good people to talk to great range of beers

Order the 25th January 2017 - nice website easy to browse. Mostly british beers for a good price. Some nice breweries but I expected more choice per brewery... Price is ok and service is fine. Good communication and parcel received on 3 working days. Box was ok. Not problem, good website!

Excellent online shop for craft beer. Large selection from the UK and a decent amount from the US too, plus a small selection from other countries. The selection is big but not as big as some other online beer shops in the UK, however, some of the beers (for example Zmajska) I got from here I have not seen anywhere else which is partially why I ordered in the first place. Prices are good, and in many cases slightly cheaper than competing shops. Shipping is £6.99 for 24 bottles (or £10 for 48) in the UK, they do ship internationally as well. Quick delivery and well packaged. Haven’t needed to deal with customer service so can’t say anything about that. Overall a great online shop and I’ll no doubt use them again in the future.

Excellent online shop which carries a large amount of craft beer, especially from the US and UK. Prices are pretty damn good, and you can’t quibble about the delivery charge when the beer is delivered to you so quickly (often within 48 hours). Customer service is brilliant, but I found the website quite tricky. I would definitely use them again and will recommend to all my beery friends in RB and beyond.

Great online shop service. Very good selection of UK beers. Though not bad at all, hopefully there is a future increase of some of those US craft beers rarely seen in Europe. Shipping is very reasonable, considering the weight of the parcel, also outside UK. Got a few appreciated bonuses since there was space available in my mixed London craft beer box.

Ales By Mail is one of the best UK online beer shops out there. The website is straight-forward and simple enough to use. They offer a good range of UK beers as well as RoW, particularly USA. They always seem to have obscure US breweries not seen elsewhere. Prices are pretty good, quite often as cheap/or cheaper than at some of the breweries. Shipping is £6.99 within the UK for up to 24 bottles and I understand they ship to the rest of Europe. I have always found the customer service attentive and quick to respond. I continue to re-order from these guys.
