Visited 14 August 2011. At the Binchoise brewery. This is more of a restaurant than a bar. It is located near the ramparts of the ancient town defenses, in the original maltings of the brewery. Decorated with old enamel beer signs and old bits from the brewery. One of the brewery’s vessels greets you as you come in. Three keg beers and the Binchoise range in bottle, with the exception of the Belge for some reason. The food was good. I had sauteed veal with mushrooms and baked potato. There are beers to go, including the new, expensive XO. Note that it is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
