bakerca (5), birmingham, England does not count - explanation | | May 10, 2012 heard of them finally got there last week so hard to park near. nice shop good range if somewhat pricey, owner has good knowledge but i like to pick my own, | | imdownthepub (164), Banbury, England | | April 6, 2012 This is a belting, friendly off licence on a busy road, there is a large assortment of beers with American, Belgian and UK beers to the fore. It is popular meaning that the beers must turn over quite regularly, it did stretch the credit card somewhat though. This is a top notch bottle shop, well worth the trip over. | The_Bish (4), , does not count - explanation | | February 23, 2012 Yep, I’m super lucky to have this as a local. For a man who drinks little beer, the owner is highly knowledgeable and passionate about the drinks he sells. He is friendly, engaging and will get in anything you ask for that he can. They even sell excellent locally made beer bread. Superb. | martinrumsam (3), BARNSTAPLE, England does not count - explanation | | January 8, 2012 very good selection for an off licence .strong lineup of belgian , german , USA and British ales as wel as many others .An absolute must to visit here if you are in the area . | | Matts_Property (27), Vancouver, British Columbia | | April 3, 2011 Really helpful owner and a good really selection for a liquor store. Google maps has trouble correctly directing you to this place... | | mcberko (59), Vancouver, British Columbia | | March 28, 2011 Wonderful little place that is well worth the trek to visit. Easily the best beer store in Birmingham with a great variety of Belgians and of course the UK’s finest. Extremely friendly service who showed a passion for beers and satisfying the customer - got a complimentary Brewdog glass for my purchase. Highly recommended a visit if you’re in the vicinity. | Zipgun (1), , England does not count - explanation | | February 21, 2011 Superb selection of European, American and British ales together with very good range of beer glasses. Owner and son friendly and interested in beer. Maybe best off license in Birmingham. Highly recommended! | | tommann (13), Dudley, England | | August 11, 2010 [ Updated April 6, 2012 ] Update. Recently doubled their beers. Owner and son are really friendly and always happy to have a chat. Worth the slight detour from the city centre.
English beers were a bit slacking, but a full Brewdog selection, Flying Dog and Goose Island and a a vast selection of Belgium and German. Winner. | srboisvert (1), Birmingham, England does not count - explanation | | April 28, 2010 By far the best offie I have been to in terms of selection. Great import section. The only place in Brum with a good selection of Belgian and German beers. | | johndoughty (15), cheslyn hay, England | | January 10, 2010 [ Updated March 30, 2011 ] Made one of my annual visits in March 2011. Range is even better than before with the owners son who is very enthusiastuic driving it forward. Usual selection of British including the wonderful Brew Dog plus some foreign including Americans. Friendly helpful and not to be missed if you are in Birmingham. Has an active page on Face Book |
