I’ve visited a couple of times. Good selection of beers on tap, friendly staff (when I asked about one of the ales, I was poured a sample plus samples of two other ales for good measure), and reasonable prices for Harborne. No ambiance as such - far too posh a word to use for this locals’ pub.

Small pub which gets very busy, but great sleection of good value beers, especially local selections.

A great find today. I visited here about 10 years ago, so knew it was a real ale venue, but now, with the help of the Wellington’s landlord, it has morphed into a 12 handpulled ale haven, with a plasma screen oredering system. Rotating micros, a couple of bottles and pub grub in a reasonably unspoilt, but lived in location. Something close to essential.
