Placed my first order with them, and they were quick to get back to me with a few of my items being out of stock. I was able to acquire others in their place. Will definitely order again, just waiting for their stock to change with the seasonal brews. Shipping was reasonable, and now have a container to trade with.

The store looks quite small from the outside, but is rather expansive once you get in. I froze when I got to the beers because I could not decide where to start. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The selection is vast and diverse.

OK place. I have gotten some really good bottles of wine and some really bad bottles of wine here. Be careful of their "specials" and "discounts" for two reasons: 1- These are typically the bottles of wine that are bad. 2- They may not be specials. For example they had the Sierra Nevada’s Anniversary Ale on special for 12 or 13 bucks, however the exact same bottle and size was 9 bucks at the Kroger’s next door.

I love this place. Great selection of beers, all available as a single bottle, so you don’t have to make the commitment of a six-pack. Good, knowledgeable staff, including one guy who likes death metal! The only problem with this place is that they have too much wine.

Just had a chance to revisit this old haunt yesterday. My how things have changed in a decade. Apparently things have vastly improved since they moved across the street. They have a great selection of both domestics and imports, mainly focusing on the domestic side. As others have stated, the best part is you can take home anything as a single. The staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable. Blacksburg certainly isn’t a beer destination, but if you find yourself there (say for a Thursday night Hokies game!), it is definitely worth stopping by.

A pretty awesome selection, especially for a bumblefu*& town, though nothing that was really rare. A imports were pretty lacking but domestics were astounding. It seemed to me like most of the beers were NE coast or West coast. Wasn’t impressed with the service. I asked some kid for Va recommendations for hoppy beers and he gave one beer that is totally passed it’s prime. Then when i asked him, "are there any good beer bars in town?" he said "what do you mean?" What do you mean what do I mean? Anyways, major points on everything beeing available in singles.

Wow, Vintage Cellar has a crap ton of beer. The import section is not overly intense, but there is a very large amount of American microbrew and most everything is available in singles. I didn’t come across anything mind-blowing, but the selection is certainly staggering and I saw quite a few things I have never seen elsewhere. The staff is helpful and well informed. It is a mandatory stop if in the area.
