An okay Young’s pub with a somewhat limited selection of mostly their own casks and bottles and a single guest cask. Polite service. Seems to me like a neighborhood pub. No point in going here unless you’re looking for some fairly common Young’s beers.

Decent no frills boozer

I always try to visit this one whenever I go to London. Located almost at the corner a Gray’s Inn Road and Calthorpe Street, it is a traditional Youngs pub with a cosy, relaxing and laid-back atmosphere. Just a classic English pub! On my visit in March the real ales on cask were as usual in good condition and included Youngs Winter Warmer, Bitter, Special and Wells Bombardier. It is very convenient that you can buy bottles to take away (Double Chocolate Stout, Ram Rod, Oatmeal Stout, Waggledance, St. George ale, Champion and a few others in the bottle selection) (Visited late 11.03.2008).
