| Leighton (226), London, England | | April 11, 2012 Certainly one of the top beer sites in Bologna. There was a fair selection of kegged beers. It would have been better but the two rotating taps used for Italian micros were both off during my visit. I had a Forst beer on tap, although the bartender may have messed up my order. There is also a very solid bottle range, for consuming there or taking away. Great food (though not cheap) and also a nice range of wine. This beer/wine cafe is on the third floor of this place, so just head up the escalators when you enter on the ground floor. Also, you will have to pay for any bottles you want to take away on the ground floor (even though they are all arranged on the third floor...). Overall certainly worth visiting at least once. | | mao (36), , Italy | | March 14, 2012 Non capisco cosa ci sia di divertente nel bere in una libreria incasinata o al contrario scegliere un libro tra la gente che mangia. Preferisco chi si impegna nel rendere eccellente una singola attività. | ummagumma87 (3), , Italy does not count - explanation | | December 13, 2011 Just for turists. | | Jimmythespoon (18), , Cyprus | | November 26, 2011 Great selection of italian beers and plenty of belgiums. Food is very good here as well. Great place to drink on a cold rainy day. Very convenient location in the centre. Don’t be fooled by all the books, go to the mtop floor for the beers. | | fugitive (133), Athens, Greece | | November 1, 2011 Great place in the center of Bologna inside of a bookstore. Great selection of Italian beers and many from Belgium, Germany. | | visionthing (114), Oslo, Norway | | September 14, 2011 A fantastic place in the heart of Bologna. A very good selection of craft beers, and if you are lucky, very good service as well. Actually this is the first and only place I have been to that they had real beer tasting glasses. A very good selection of Italian craft beers, not very cheap, but worth the price. When we visited the average about 10€ for a large botlle (0,75l). Decent selction of other European beers too, especially Belgians. | leonardo4it (1), does not count - explanation | | August 22, 2010 I had a very good Baladin Isaac | | nate2g (320), Marlborough, New Zealand | | June 3, 2010 An exceptional set-up with a focus on craft beer and fine foods. There’s three floors in what initially appears to be a book store as you walk in. Plenty of cured meats, cheese, olive oil, bread and wines etc. The top floor is where the beers (and wine) are at. A really great range of Italian micros but also stocking some US, German, Belgian and English ales. At the bar you can get the Forst beers on tap with one guest. The food is fresh and of good quality but by no means value for money. More than worth your time to pay a visit here. Fantastico. | | SHIG (139), Anchorage, Alaska | | May 13, 2010 This store is right off the main square in Bologna. It seems to be mostly filled with books, but on the 3rd floor you will discover a nice selection of Italian beer. They also carry British, American, German, and Belgian beers as well. This place is also rare in that it is open seven days a week. |
