68 Visited on 3rd October 2017. Reasonable local bar a few mins down the road from Tip Tap Room. Decor is OK and has a nice lived in feel. Plenty of seating a screens showing sports. Beer list is reasonable and I picked up several new rates here including a couple of new states. The list isn't world class but is solid with some decent local beer. Prices and service were good. A goodxstop if in the area but wouldn't make a special trip here. |
64 Dive-ish bar just up the street from Tip Tap in downtown Boston. Sports bar kind of interior, mostly bar style seating with a few tables. 20 taps, most of which are from macro micros, some local beers and national micro brands. Food was decent but uninspired, service was a bit sloppy. Decent neighborhood pub, but not exactly a travel destination. |
60 Decent number of taps, but the waitress didn’t know boo about the beers on taps, or possibly beers overall. Food was fine, but fairly uninspired. |
60 A small neighbourhood bar on the side of Beacon Hill, just down from the Kinsale and before you get to Mass Gen. It was rather busy when we visited early on a Wednesday evening. They have around 22 taps with local and regional beers such as Harpoon, Sam Adams, Berkshire Brewing Company and Cisco plus about 40 US bottles and 16 imported ones. They do food and there are the usual television screens switched to the sports channels.

74 Nice little Boston pub! Small place...kinda crowded...good people and fun. Food menu is simple but fairly priced and tasty...my cuban sandwich was excellent! Service here is very friendly. Pretty nice lacal/regioanl craft selection with a few out of towners mixed in. I was presently suprised to find lagunitas sucks on draft! They have decent glassware but may put your DIPA in a lambic style flute...my only gripe and a minor one. Id visit often if I lived in the area. |
