Nice little watering hole that evidently has come a long way in the last few years. It’s clean and well run, and the food is really awesomeinteresting and well-prepared, with lots of alternatives to the usual pub fare. The staff is super efficient and on top of it even when slammed. The problem is that they don’t serve any really dazzling beer. Lots of good stuff, so if you’re in the Bothell area specifically, it’s fine. But for tourists I would have to say don’t botherevery single thing on draft here is available all over town, so it’s not worth the extra drive unless you have time to kill.

Atmospherically it’s not unlike Fred’s Rivertown Tavern...one big room, lots of wood, long bar and a lot of taps. The selection was mainly local standards so it’s not competitive with the ticker pubs in Seattle but it seems like a place I’d go to a lot if I lived in Bothell for its casual atmosphere and wide variety.

The Bothell Main Street Ale House (BMSAH) is a great rustic place. First place I had Mac & Jack’s African Amber. Good stuff. The beer selection is good with at least four our five really nice beers on tap. This place surprised me with the quality of the food. The prosciutto and provolone sandwich on focaccia bread can really hit the spot with their house made spicy potato chips along side a nice craft brew on tap. Some of the staff has turned over recently so I don’t know too much about the current help. Sure can’t complain. Last time I was there with my wife and 8 month old son the new people were very nice. I can’t wait for another chance to go back for a PnP, spicy chips and a brew. Usually plenty of parking out back (back entrance through small patio area) and/or the adjacent lot out back across the street to the west.

There the same time as Crit. I was driving so finding parking was not fun had to go around the block a couple of times but did find a convenient spot a block away. Satff was very attentive if not knowledgeable. Ask to buy a glass and the waitress said no problem don’t take the dirty one and she went and got me a clean one at no charge. I didn’t eat so have to go on what the rest in party said.

Staff was unknowledgeable regarding the beers, but very attentive. When I tried to return a poor beer, it was done, no questions asked. Selection was good, the quality and care taken not so much so Average food, mostly pub grub. Strret parking available within a block or 2 Was quite noisy, but I was there on a Friday night
