| Travlr (637), Washington, Washington DC | | March 20, 2012 Large selection includes the Bouillon range, whose labels are more interesting than the beers. Gorgeous town, well worth a long diversion. | | rotjoch (35), Antwerpen, Belgium | | August 4, 2011 One of the better places to buy beer in the region. Specializes in their own brands, which are plenty but not that great. They’ve got a lot of other interesting beers as well, though | | ekstedt (67), Göteborg, Sweden | | June 17, 2011 A nice place with a good selection of Belgian beers, and local specialities in particular. Good prices, good service. | | baxterfish (125), , England | | June 8, 2011 No longer the site of the Boillon Brewery. Nice store with good service but, disappointingly, not stocking beer from several of the local breweries such as Fantome, St Helene & Millivertus. A few from Rulles and St Monon and of course Bouillon. Good service and reasonable prices. For local beers the shop in Roche en Ardenne is a better bet. | | BelgBeerGeek (22), Antwerp, Belgium | | May 6, 2010 i think this is a very beautifful store as i visit the ardennes and that region for 20 years and am intrested in beers since 5 years ago this is the only store i think has a good value when it comes to regional and wallon beers ... i think there aren’t too good shops in that region who have a awesome stock like this .... | | Bierkrug (214), Idar-Oberstein (In East Africa), Germany | | May 31, 2009 [ Updated August 9, 2009 ] A wonderful little find in town. And it is open on Sundays lucky for me. Huge selection and a great stop. Other have said what needs to be said. | | Jerre (67), Waregem, Belgium | | August 3, 2008 Was here yesterday for the tirth time. Good choice of (300) beers from the most Wallonian breweries. Original giftpaks. The hard to find beers from this brewery (Bouillon) also here. | | Bragesnak (73), Aarhus, Denmark | | March 25, 2008 Very large selection of Biere Ardenesse
Some tastings would have been appreciated | | Goldorak (112), Montreal, Quebec | | September 30, 2007 Beers were stocked on wooden shelves in a somewhat lackluster order, and cases were piled here and there on the floor. As large a selection as I’ve seen in the area, plenty of Wallonian breweries like Des Fagnes, Du Bocq and Caracole, a few oddballs (most of them from Du Bocq) and plenty of trappists (no Westy). They had a new one, Atok’ale, made with cranberries from Québec! Overall I wouldn’t count on this place to do all of my Belgian Beer shopping, but for someone passing through it’s totally worth a stop. Tickers or those who look for those goofy Beers with little to no reviews will have a field day here. What really caught my eye was their breweryana section. Lots of rare glassware, and a whole display case of Orval stuff. Prices were very reasonable across the board, for instance the Montgaillard (oversized Orval glass) was only 50 euros, I’ve seen it at double that price elsewhere. Beers and glasses were affordable as well. The girl at the register was really nice, gave us a few suggestions and packed my stuff very well. | | JoeinEscazú (200), San Jose, Costa Rica | | August 9, 2007 Not technically a brewery, but a beer shop run by a brewery. Pretty excellent selection of Wallonian ales that weren’t as available in Brussels. Also a limited selection of gift packs and breweriana. |
