70 This is it on May 24th 2022. I always like to check out the local co-op markets whenever I travel. Not only do they offer up usually a great selection of local singles, but you can also get snacky foods for the car. This was no exception, lots of greens and nuts and healthy food, plus I'm really nice selection of local craft beer. Great place to stock up on both. |
64 Though one of those "hippie/crunchy granola" types of places, well, we have that sort of thing here in VT, this is a decent place when in Brattleboro to check out. Prices are the same throughout Brattleboro. Pretty clean little store. |
64 Whole Foods/Trader Joes - esque grocery store, with a great selection of local singles, including cider. Average prices for the area, it seemed. Located right in the "downtown" area, and very accessible if you’re doing the town bar crawl. Worth a stop in if you’re in the area and looking to take a few local bottles home. |
64 The comparison to a local Whole Foods is spot on. Its certainly one of the nicest food co-ops I’ve ever visited and thankfully there’s plenty of parking next door. They have about 150 kinds of mainly local and some national craft. They also have some nice prizes lurking. On the day I visited I found a Founder’s doom that I wasnt expecting. But apparently a lot has changed since 2006. They have very little BMC and a strong focus on local product. It’s not a destination place but it’s a pretty solid local. |
80 Of the handful of shops that I checked out in the Brattleboro, this was probably the best. It was nice to be able to grab singles of anything. They had very fair prices and a good assortment of regional, local, and national microbreweries, with a good suite of specialty beers. Don’t expect anything rare, but if you’re camping or hiking and want something decent, this is the place to stop. Plus the food here is fantastic. |
76 I was really happy to see this place with 10 or so bottles of the Dogfish Pearl Jam brew chilling on the shelf. I hit the jackpot for the local beers here, so I couldn’t be happier. Big store for food. Great selection of local beers. |
76 A nice little food store stowed away in Brattleboro. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and the place has tons of local products. Their beer selection mainly focuses around VT products, especially Brattleboro’s own McNeill’s. Other VT beers like Otter Creek, Magic Hat and Rock Art are always available along with other US microbrews like rare Dogfish and Rogues. Reasonable prices. |
64 This place has renovated since my last visit, for the better. Similar to Whole Foods, with good cheese, wine and beer selection. A lot of the McNeills, and other Vermont offerings, with good classics, such as Stone, Kasteel, Harpoon, etc...good prices. |
62 As others have mentioned, basically a food co-op in an artsy, hippie town. Very impressed with the beer selection. Local brews of course. McNeill’s, Trout River, but also a good selection of other craft brews. Prices, I thought were quite reasonable. One of the things I liked about Brattleboro, is everything is within walking distance. I hit McNeill’s, Flat Street and this place, all within an hour or so. |
58 Pretty solid selection for what is basically a health-conscious, alternative supermarket in a small town. I’d say there are about 150 different beers, with some good representatives from abroad. But mainly the standouts are Vermont beers, like McNeill’s and Trout River. |
