| Blairgus (55), California | | September 24, 2011 decent selection and some single bombers. selection is smaller than total wines but bigger than vemdome. prices are standard and staff is friendly enough. | | womencantsail (53), Home of Rebecca Black, California | | April 11, 2011 I was in the area today and I figured I would check this BevMo out. I wasn’t really expecting too much from a BevMo, and was not wowed, but I certainly wasn’t let down.
The usual selection of California’s larger craft breweries, along with a smattering of other West Coast breweries and a few from other parts of the country. Some Deschutes, Anderson Valley, Lost Abbey, Port, plenty of Stone, a few Ommegang, a fair amount of North Coast, some Allagash...I can’t remember all of them. Also the more "mainstream" imports, not any real finds there.
The service was okay. I don’t really need any help at a BevMo, because they probably don’t have anything special that I need to ask for anyway.
Prices were the standard, with a few deals here and there. Certainly not a destination, but a decent place if you’re in Brea. | icanhasbeerz (5), does not count - explanation | | January 5, 2011 So glad to find a great outlet for adult beverages (and more!), with outstanding selection, superb customer service right in the heart of LA/Orange Cty. They aren’t warehouse prices, mind you, but you can probably find it here, and at a fair price | | beerguy101 (69), Newark, California | | July 10, 2010 Decent selection, its a fairly standard BevMo. Decent beer section | | buenosdiaz (10), California | | June 1, 2010 What can I tell you? It’s a BevMo. Wide aisles are a plus here. Staff could be a bit more expert in their booze knowledge/geekery. Prices are very fair. | | Hophead22 (60), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California | | October 5, 2008 Typical BevMo, usual selection. Always a good place, but usually nothing different. Godd place for styro shippers though. | degrassi (2), cypress, California does not count - explanation | | August 2, 2007 I drove out of my way to this bevmo to pick up a bottle their website said they had in stock. Unfortunately the beer in question was not there, however i really enjoyed the service. The selection is good for me, I’m new to serious beer consumption, so they all look good. The best thing about the place was that the staff was knowledgeable about beer and willing to really take the time to talk to you. If I’m going to spend a few bucks on new beers I’ll definitely make the trek here, if not I’ll stick to the store in Cypress. | adrenalin112 (2), Lake Forest, California does not count - explanation | | June 11, 2007 decent selection of beers around the globe with a few nice local micro favorites. new surprises dont come around too often. on rare occasions youll find a new mag, or a seasonal (i.e. utopias).
best experience here is the friday late afternoon beer tasting. | | Saarlander (21), Saarlouis/ Rancho Cucamonga,CA, Germany | | December 5, 2005 [ Updated May 21, 2007 ] Alot more selection than the bevmos in San bernardino Co., still not great, but not terrible. Ok if I’m in the area! | | BeerLimey (113), California | | August 31, 2005 The same as every other Bevmo. One of the best places to check out if you’re new to the area or to pick up 5 or 6 new bottles a month if you’re not. They have a lot of single bottles but they don’t split 6 packs. |
