| CaptainCougar (139), Rockville, Maryland | | June 14, 2009 I’ve been here twice, but it’s been a few years. I remember them having a few more taps than you’d find at other locations and the beer quality is pretty good. I often overlook BJs when I’m in California because of all the other great beer around, but I have yet to have an infected or undrinkable beer from them. A good place to go and watch a ballgame and have a bite to eat with a craft beer. | | KUEric (79), Chevy Chase, Maryland | | January 7, 2006 Nice place, a typical BJs-chain brewpub. Had a nice cute little server named Bonnie. Selection wasn’t too bad, have a couple of guest taps that usually are decent. Had a more lively feel than some other brewpubs, up to you whether thats a good or bad thing. | | BeerLimey (76), California | | August 31, 2005 Well placed, part of the Brea mall, right off the the 57 not far from Anaheim, Santa Ana. 2 seasonals in addition to the regular line up, they also have the monthly beer appreciation night. Good deal on happy hour, good apps, same menu as other BJ’s. Lively place. | | herbjones (29), Orange, California | | June 13, 2005 Same as the other BJ’s except this is a brewing location. You’ll have a better chance at finding seasonals here. | PuckLSHS (9), does not count - explanation | | March 30, 2005 Great Happy Hour. BJ’s seems to be the CSU Fullerton hang out, which can make for a pretty lively evening. The artichoke spinach pizza is fantastic and the jeremiah red is great. Their Hef is a pretty tasty american brew also.
The service could be better. They always seem like they are understaffed every time I go. Not as good as Taps, but they are a pretty good chain restaurant/brewery. |
