Garfields Tap and Grille

Garfields is owned by the company that runs charlie browns. It is the first one in the country. It is their trial run at their version of a craft beer bar. Their sign emphasizes "craft beers-burgers-wings". It just opened up this summer, so I’m really keeping my fingers crossed that they survive. It’s a great place to catch a game with many tvs. the service is great and its a very clean family friendly atmosphere in the restaurant. The service at both the bar and restaurant area is great. The food, unfortunately, has been inconsistent in quality. However, the food seems to be improving. They have about 12 taps and I hear they have plan to add more. Bartenders (I’ve dealt with Allison and Collin) are excellent. They had on tap for $4 was the following Rogue double chocolate stout, Kane head high, Carton boat beer, Brooklyn post road pumpkin, Flying Fish hopfish and a few others I cannot remember. They are always asking the customers for their opinion on what they are drinking and they are very open to suggestions for beers to be tapped in the future. Overall, great startup that is steadily improving and has great prices. I’m sure that once the craft beer crowd starts showing up more regularly their selection on tap and bottle will explode. Biggest complaint from the locals is the inconsistent food. But like I said, its getting better.
