Small, modern 3-floor bar with a spiral staircase located near the Laines. Nice laid-back atmosphere. This is an all keg bar, kind of like the Euston Tap. They have up to 31 taps.....but it was more like 15 when we visited. Tap selection was decent: De Molen, Thornbridge and some good Belgian and German options. They also have a double fridge with a selection of UK and US beers. Bottles were very reasonable priced, like £3-£3.50 per bottle. Limited food menu was decent and good value. As this place is new, it will take a while to get in its stride, but I imagine this place will only get better with time.

We (me & Loz) visited here Saturday 5th May 2012, following visits to The Evening Star and Cask Pub & Kitchen. In my opinion this was some distance third in the pecking order behind the other two. The beer choice was very decent with Magic Rock, Thornbridge, Sierra Nevada & Rogue beers amongst those on tap, though of the 30 or so taps about ten werenít on and when listening to others ordering it was clear that some of the others had also run empty and so 15-20 is a more accurate estimate of what was on when we arrived, though the Magic Rock Rapture and the Eight Ball in bottle (the Hugh Wire had run out on tap) were both lovely and very reasonably priced. However the place had a feel of cheapness about it, the seats wobbled when you sat on them and to be fair Iím not that big, the window seat according to Loz was narrow and uncomfortable, there was no seat on the gents toilet, and the place just felt a bit rushed and put together cheaply. The two girls behind the bar were very pleasant, friendly and helpful, but to be honest you have to wonder whether they were employed for their looks first and foremost as their beer knowledge didnít appear that great. It was busy and clearly a popular place and if it was able to just iron out some of the niggles then it may well improve.
