lbecker (2), Brookline, Massachusetts does not count - explanation | | January 18, 2012 Very nice place, with very good service. Food is not much, but burgers are fine. Beer selection is fantastic. It is a pitty it is running out of business. | | foamyhead (17), California | | November 27, 2011 Great food and lots of taps. I’d give higher marks of the taps were stuffed with top rated beers instead of mixing it up with some suspect choices. Well worth a visit, and I will go back. | | mkgrenwel (62), Cambridge, Massachusetts | | November 16, 2011 The "American craft" companion to The Publick House. Very impressive selection. The space is nice, but very big and apparently tough to fill up. The food is good enough to stand alone as a restaurant. Service was fine on my visit. The Publick House is full of character, but they lost that in translation leaving this place a little sterile. Other than that, it’s a really nice bar. | | rosenbergh (275), Helsinki, Finland | | July 24, 2011 Great selection of American craft brews. 41 taps. 3 taps from Europe. Great variety, Big patio. Restaurant like. Not that crowded on Saturday night. Draft list on bar. | | Sourhead (11), Massachusetts | | June 2, 2011 I’m so tired of people boasting a local-vore menu then serving avocados or mahi mahi. Integrity is totally lost here in the pursuit of money. With that said, the staff is always friendly, the selection is always decent and sitting outside is nice. I just want more. Or at least don’t pretend to be something you’re not. Maybe then it would seem better | | MikeF (205), Cleveland, Ohio | | May 29, 2010 Very nice restaurant with many many great beers on draft. Great regional and national selection with an emphasis on american beer. Menu looks great, but did not get to try any food. Knowledgeable servers.
They have the largest bourbon selection I have seen to date. A great stop just down the street from Publick house making this a must see combo. | | Travlr (637), Washington, Washington DC | | April 2, 2010 New place just up the street from the Publick House. Emphasis is on the restaurant portion, but the bar is large - too large and spread out for easy conversation. Only serves American craft beers. Decent selection, including a few rarities. On the expensive side. Tried one appetizer only, which was OK. Worth a stop. |
