(Visited July 2012) Nice cellar bar not far away from the Grand Place. The place is quite interesting, located down in the cellar vaults (or dungeons if you prefer that). They have up to 10 draught beers, with some interesting guest beers (from Caulier and Jandrain-Jandrenouille on my visit). Good selection of bottled beers, around 100, with some interesting stuff. Swift and efficient service. Worth a visit.

A basement-located pub which is like a real old kind of dark basement build with just briks, and with a low ceiling. It’s like going back in time. The beer selection is great, and with ten beers on tap. Looks like a pub that attracts beer enthusiast as well as students and locals.

Very cool bar with knowledgeable staff and quality selection including some uncommon stuff from Wallonia. Not a priority to visit as a tourist but defiintely a place I would visit regularly if I was living in Brussels.

We visited here with Jackie & Simon in the early hours of Saturday 24th March, it was probably about 1am ish’. beer choice was very good though by this time we had started to go sensible and so had Taras Boulba, a thoroughly decent beer and so sensible in strength for a Belgian beer. Jackie & Simon perused the aged beer list and went for Still Nicht and another De Dolle beer as I recall. Lovley vaulted ceilings in this place and a very pleasant atmosphere. Great find and big thanks to Jackie & Simon for taking us there.

I think it’s the kind of place that you either like or just don’t. I liked it, been there several times with friends of mine, ambiance is very specific, rock’n’roll, service is very decent as well as the selection itself, not too pricy and it closes very late.. otherall a good place to finish your beer drinking nights in Belgian Capital...

Lovely cellar bar with a fantastic atmosphere. Small but great draft list and large bottled selection make this one of the best bars in Brussels.

Visited in March 2011. Refreshingly different from the other bars we visited in Brussels. Good selection and resonable prices. Pretty crowded on a Saturday night, but good ambiance. Well worth a visit.
