Went there by chance, while walking aroud the Grand Place. Tasted a couple of them, not sure what they were, but one was really disgusting, both smell and taste. Apart from this, high prices (tourist trap, as said in some reviews..) and poor service. Not again.

I was unimpressed with this joint. I tried a tray of samples; there was nothing I could write about which would do the brewer any good. So I will just say they did not worry my tastebuds a great deal, the word bland comes to mind, which is unusual for Belgium beers. It is in a very good (for tourists) position, but there are plenty of other places close which are much better. The place is clean, tidy and looks interesting for a while, but they have failed to really do anything with the bar or beers.

A tourist trap very close to Grand Place. Poor selection and their own beers are not very good. Mainly for tickers...

stopped in here for a few beers, it’s conveniently right in the middle of the Grand Place so it’s hard to miss. Decent beers priced well.

Their own four beers can be served from a sample tray with each sample containing 120ml (be sure to ask for the tray) for 8EUR. Apart from the house beers there were about 25 bottles in addition to about 6-7 draught beers listed on the menu. Friendly service when we visited the place about noon on a Saturday. Splendid location at one of the corners of the Grand-Place (visited 7th May 2011).

Visited March 19. Came by by accident. Nice Ambience with a lot of brass! 3 story tall, lots of space with storagetanks. Served their own beers, allthough they were very cold.
