| deanso (103), the Hague, Netherlands | | May 14, 2012 nice little place. Good selectopn of Belgian beers and good food too. | | tonycaviar (17), , Hungary | | February 11, 2012 Klasszik alaphely. A kiszolgálás barátságos, a választék szokásos belga, mindnféle butasággal kiegészítve. Az étel volt ár nagyon jó, meg nem olyan jó is. | | Tim Webb (106), Cambridge, England | | November 13, 2011 [ Updated November 19, 2011 ] On the Buda side of the river, on the embankment road. Look for the Belgian Brasserie signs as Henri is low key. Beers are mainly from mainstream independent Belgians like Anker, Bocq, Bosteels, Lefebvre,Palm some Silly and Ellezelloise, Dubuisson and so on, plus lots of fruit syrup crap. Good quality brasserie that would pass in urban Belgium. | | EithCubes (157), , Germany | | October 26, 2011 Sat outside here back during the summer, nice-ish view across the river. Probably my favorite spot to drink good beer in the city (and one of the only places with anything to look forward to). Selection, service, food were all very good. Correct glasses and serving temps. Will be sure to go back next time I’m in town. | | rosenbergh (275), Helsinki, Finland | | October 13, 2011 6 taps. 100+ bottles. All Belgian. Excellent selection for Budapest pub. OK prices. Nice service. Quite busy 1:30pm on Thursday. Good location by the Danube river. Right glass for most of the beers. Next to Belgian Beer Shop. | | aeroflotanc (11), , Hungary | | July 3, 2011 Very good selection of Belgian ales. I don’t rate their food offerings compared to their competitors. Often very busy since they are right on the Danube, but is in a cellar so don’t expect to enjoy any riverside views. | morangochris (5), Budapest, Hungary does not count - explanation | | January 28, 2011 Probably the best place to drink a Belgian Beer in Budapest. The food is decent, bit pricey. The staff is very friendly. OK, I don’t want to be not to picky, but had not always the right glassware for the beer. Also, I prefer to pour out my beers than done by the staff. They don’t have the "ritual" of pouring in their fingers. | | ILikeOl (70), , Norway | | January 23, 2011 [ Updated January 24, 2011 ] In a city not known for it beers, this bar is an excellent choice. For some reason there are several bars in Budapest serving belgian, rather than other imports. Brasserie Henri is possibly the best of them. | | IPFreely (143), Sanborn, New York | | July 31, 2010 Great location right on the Danube with an awesome view of the river and the parliament building. The indoor part was pretty nice as well, being partially subterranian with some nice decor. Solid beer list with lots of Belgian beers. Service was quick and friendly. We did not eat here, but the steamed mussels looked and smelled wonderful. Definitely recommended, although the beer lists here and at Pater Marcus a few blocks away were pretty similar. | | Sdaniel90 (11), Estado de México, Mexico | | July 27, 2010 Great place next to the pintoresque Danube to try great beer! Selection consists of only Belgian beers, good stuff. The staff is friendly, but not very knowledgable, and don’t go out of their way to help you. Nice, cozy place to enjoy a Rochefort on a rainy day. |
