Small sampler pours that are on the pricey side but the selection is deep and filled with beers you’re not going to try elsewhere. Setting is intimate and nicely laid out. A very cool compliment to the existing Buellton tap room and restaurant.

Finally! Stopped in on a Sunday on our way back home from Disneyland. 16 taps, filled with yummy barrelworks only goodness, plus a few "regulars." You walk through the actual, dark, barrelhouse to get to the tasting room, which is a cool touch. They only do tasters here, but they are reasonably priced. Staff is friendly and helpful. All in all a really fun place. Main drawbacks are: limited hours, silly rules (you can’t even take a taster from the tasting room to the adjoining restaurant. No growler fills or even full pints. As previously noted, they have an interesting bottles to go cooler, with Anniversary beers back to 13 and Parabola back to 2011. But holy crap do you pay for the older stuff!

An intimate area adjacent to the dining room. The service is decent. The selection is pretty good. All FW high gravity beers. Tasters or snifters are available. Basically all of my favorite FW brew right there in one place. That’s what makes it worth it for me. It’s usually pretty quite in there, so conversation is not labored at all.

Small tasting bar located right next to the tap room/restaurant. Entrance from the outside is a little confusing as you actually have to walk through the barrel warehouse to get to the bar (but it’s actually kind of cool). A number of tables and a small bar to sit at. Cooler in the back with some of their barrel aged beers. About 15 different beers on tap, most of them barrel aged and/or strong/specialty beers. Most of them were pretty good, as you would expect. Good service, a couple different pour size options, and if you’re hungry, there’s the restaurant right there.

I prefer the tap room. Ambiente here is ok and beers are great as expected.

Completely different scene from the regular Buellton tap room. They share a parking lot, but it is a separate entrance, vibe, crowd and tasting bar. Amazing gothic, cathedral like barrel house with some bright tanks in the background. Educational info around the bar. Bottles for sale to go back to FW13. Epic tap list and information. Calm and very beer centric vibe. Much better service than next door. And the opportunity to chat with, drink with and get served/educated by Jeffers. David Walker also stopped by to chat. Excellent, and well worth the drive, which I plan on doing bi-monthly if possible. Amazing!
