April 18, 2011 A complete dump. The website conveys this place as a beer-friendly restaurant and "grill," but the kitchen was closed at 8pm on our visit. Regrettably we decided to grab two drinks at the bar, where we received surly and incompetent service from some low-life meat head who didn’t know anything about the beers on tap. A few of the draughts listed were not actually available, and the greasy, unfriendly locals were all giving us the stare down while we drank. As I was finishing my second beer, a tall chunky woman knocked my coat off the stool beside me and, like a true coward, disappeared into the bathroom before I could confront her. That was enough BS for us - we paid the bill and walked to the Blue Monk (a world class beer bar). Needless to say, I would not recommend this shit hole to any beer geek with a semblance of dignity. Avoid at all costs. |

March 13, 2010 Solid beer bar and restaurant with a Western/Jackson Hole theme. As has been stated they have decent selection of about 20 or so taps, but you probably won’t find anything exceedingly rare. The food is typical burgers and sandwiches, but it is always pretty good. The bar can get crowded depending on when you go, but the service is usually pretty attentive. Worth stopping by if you are downtown or in allentown. |

December 31, 2009 Spent an hour or three there drinking Arrogant Bastard and Hop Stoopid. Service was very friendly. Fairly busy, with the clientele being on the young side. Bar and restaurant areas were clean and bright enough. The men’s room was absolutely disgusting, however. |

December 29, 2009 Best time to go to this bar is the St Patties day parade....if you can get in...they try har but like most bars in that area needs a little of a face lift. But is has culture and love their beers! |

July 21, 2006 [ Updated October 2, 2006 ] Stopped here for a nightcap with Dickensonbeer.Crowd is mostly in the 25-30 age range. There are about 25 taps, but nothing really rare. But if you are from out of town, they do have some local and regional beers. During the summer, you can also sit outside. Like IPFreely said, worth stopping by if you are in the neighborhood. Coles and Goodbar are the best places to hit if you have a choice |

May 11, 2005 Nice place in downtown Buffalo. Ambiance wasn’t that great. I asked for the beer list and the waitress handed me a index card out of her server’s book. Lighting was dim. Had some good upstate NY stuff on tap like Flying Bison, Southern Tier HopSun, Ellicotville. Basically some decent available micros. Food was good, but a bit greasy. Bar was packed and loud around 11pm. Check it out if your in town. |

February 20, 2005 Food always seems a bit greasy for me. Beer list is ok with a lot more more available micros (think along the lines of Anchor) Still, they usually have one or two really nice things on tap like Lake Placid UBU |

November 4, 2004 I enjoyed this bar because the people here were generally nice and it wasnt overly crowded. They have about 20 or so taps, with most being local and easily attainable "micros". The prices arent too bad. The bar area is not the largest. They have a few TVs if you want to watch a sports game. A nice chill place. |

March 5, 2004 A decent bar with 25 taps that aren't the hardest to find. Not worth going out of your way for but worth visiting if you're in the neighborhood. |
