eSideMethod (1), , does not count - explanation | | October 1, 2011 I’ve tried the craft beer exchange at the Sunoco on Delaware and Kenmore a couple of times. My last and final try was today. I had a $2 off coupon from the last exchange. The clerk checks me out and forgets to apply the coupon, then (without telling me what he’s doing) takes several minutes to refund me. At this point a line has formed. He then takes my growler to the taps and says that he’ll put it through again after the line clears. Lame. | | DiarmaidBHK (307), Pennsylvania | | August 6, 2011 This is one of 12 Sunoco’s in the Buffalo area that now offer craft beer and it’s a lot newer and cleaner compared to most Sunoco’s. The biggest takeaway is that they’re doing growler fiils and they’re primarily local and regional craft beers from brewers like Southern Tier and Troegs. They also have a separate section away from the stacks of BMC where you can make your own sixers again of craft beer. Admittedly they still need to work on the service aspect. The guy behind the counter said he didn’t go for all the hoppy beers as he was a "Killian’s man" himself but this is certainly a trend to watch. |
