I’m strictly basing this off of their beer selection. Not a huge selection, but there is definitely a better selection here than most/all grocery stores. Prices end up being good here too. Don’t expect any rarities here though.

My wife was so excited with the prospect of shopping at Wegmans full time as opposed to the dumpy price chopper we learned to love. This review will focus on the beer selection, but I do admit this place is probablly the nicest grocery store you will every see. Beer is well laid out by style/point of origin. Seems like stuff moves from this place (or they clean well) no dust on any bottles. singles available. Nothing that I would consider groundbreaking in terms of selection... but I could certainly keep ticking from this beer selection alone for a few years. Does have a walk in with some bombers ready to party in additon to sixers of Buffalo Bison, GLBC, Founders, Southern Tier, Ithaca, and the usual fare. Awesome

Much prefer the one at transit and maple. Imports are priced cheaper than premier usually. Selection in line with your average bottle store. Village merchant is only 10 mins away. Go there instead.

great selection for a grocery store. but damn i have never seen so many people in one grocery store wow. picked up one of their build your own 6 packs and 6 Victory Hop Wallops

Always long lines, better beer places then this. Not enough cold selection. WOuld like to see more fridge space. I like the easy of this place, good hours

Probably the best grocery store to stop in. The selection is good, but not as wide a variety as premier. The service is always fantastic with the nicest and most helpful employees around. Ambiance is okay for a grocery store. The food is amazing, with subs, pizza, sushi, fresh baked breads and a good cheese selection. A chef from wegmans was even on Hell’s KItchen. Overall, I love wegmans.

This is where I buy my groceries and rarely do I come here for beer, but with that said they have really improved their beer selection over the last year. If you’re looking for anything rare, stick to Premier or Village Beer Merchant, but if you want to grab a six pack or bomber of an old favorite they should have you covered. Very good grocery store too.

Pretty Much the most amazing grocery store ever!! You can find anything you want including fresh breads, great beers, and things that are very unique to NY.... Webers Mustard, White Hots!! LOVE IT!!

I LOVE AND MISS WEGMANS!!!!! I moved to Florida and need this diamond in the rough...esp with beer...they have two full isles compared to two shelfs down in florida!

I’m not sure about any other Wegmans locations in the Buffalo area but this one is great. Its awesome going to the beer section of a grocery store and seeing great beer other than the normal crap. Convenient location right near the Elmwood Village. As far food prices they are definately more expensive than other grocery stores, but the quality of everything is great. Especially with all the gourmet cheese, olives, meats. This isn’t a full blown beer store but they have great stuff and decent prices. It seems to be getting better by the day also.
