Medium sized, parking in side street, hippy sausages ad vegan stuff, great beer list with samples of "pint" served offerings.

This place is small with very limited seating. Divey inside with a tiny patio. There is no parking so you have to park on the street in the residential neighborhood around the bar. There is no table service, so you have to order at the "order here" spot at the bar and carry your beverages to the table. This can be a real challenge if you have a group and choose to sit at the outside patio. If you order food, you get a number card and they bring the food to your table. The beer selection is all on tap and all from California. The beer menu is divided into IPA and "Other." You can order a flight of sample-sized beers. Limited food choices are mostly vegan and non-vegan sausages on rolls with various toppings. The home-made potato chips were tasty.

Innocuous little hole in the wall. Unpretentious and divey, with a slew of California craft. Tap list is pretty good with a menu tailored to vegans. Food is simple but good, but also expensive.

Find street parking in the neighborhoods surrounding the bar. Local, semi-dive bar vibe. They do have a full menu, but there are no servers; which got annoying since we had to go back and stand in line at the bar for 1) waters, 2) cutlery, 3) and beer after having already ordered our food. Expect a lot of artisanal bratwurst/sausages. Quality of this type of food was good but inferior to Wurstkuche, which is also a brat and beer place. Servers were friendly though and the beer list was exceptional with special one-offs from Ballast Point and a Golden Road tap take over. Other selections were top notch. There is a patio and then inside there is limited seating. The seating is first come, first serve; which makes it difficult if you wanted to eat and drink.
So major qualm is that they have a full menu but not the wait staff to allow one to use it.
Side note, they have board games!

Blown away by this little bar in the middle of nowhere. Pliny, Mongo, Just Outstanding, Harvest, Sculpin, were all on tap at the same time and that was just part of the lineup.
Vibe reminded me of being back home in Wisconsin. The beers rivaled any place in Portland. The staff was so friendly. Canít wait to go back.

Limited menu of course unless you like dogs. Taps were predominately IPA heavy-good for hopheads but not so much for those looking for variety. 100% California brewery taps. They use large pint glasses but do not fill them up all the way.

Stopped in on a Sunday night and it was surprisingly busy. Love the concept- all California, all taps. We didnít eat but the sausage-heavy, vegan-friendly food concept is cool, too. Prices were about $6-$7 for most things, which meant some beers were overpriced and some were good deals. Atmosphere was cool, and remoded me of many non-craft bars in the Midwest. Took a while to get served and they didnít have a clean snifter for what I ordered so I got a slightly smaller pour than I should have. Bartender seemed to be paying more attention to familiar faces, which was just about to piss us off because we came in and followed the "Order Here" sign. Overall, cool place and great concept. Worth a visit if youíre in the area.

Stopped in on a flight to Burbank based on the recommendations, and boy is it worth the visit! 38 taps, rotating on an almost daily basis (and updated on a daily basis on their website too!) Friendly service. Did not try the food, but everything else just rocks. It is worth noting that all of their taps are California beers, but what a variety is possible with CA beers as your focus. They will also do 4oz flights of any beer that they sell in pints 4 for $9, which is a great way to rack up some ratings. A winner.

I went here back in March with my lovely Rita on our long-awaited LA trip. This place was definitely a highlight of the trip. We arrived at maybe 9:30 on a Thursday night and it was pretty crowded, as in zero empty seats crowded. The space itself is nothing fancy or condescending, just wood walls with lots of breweriana and even a beer library. We walked the length of the small place a couple times making sure we werenít missing an open spot or 2, all the seats were taken. We were about to leave and try a different night when a couple at the bar got up and left. YESSS!!! If only we could always have such luck!
We were quickly seen by the bartender, despite the crowd. The beer menu is divided into 2 sections: IPAs and Other. Definitely my kind of place. Everything is draft, itís all from California, and itís all awesome, including the 20 or so IPAs. Yes, Pliny was on when I was there, which is a huge treat in itself. Lots of stuff from breweries I hadnít heard of and apparently some one-offs as well. In addition to Pliny and some other things, I had a sour from Drakeís Brewing called Hyperion that, at the time, wasnít even listed on RateBeer or BeerAdvocate. I wish I wouldíve taken notes and reviewed that too, but it was pretty unique and reminded me a bit of Boulevard Love Child #2 or New Glarus Enigma. I loved it and wish I couldíve brought back a growler.
The food menu is small and revolves around sausage-based fare, which is perfect for this place if you ask me. Whatís more, they have Vegan versions of every sausage and they cook the Vegan food on dedicated Vegan cookware. My girlfriend, who is vegetarian, loved this of course. My meat sausage was very good, and her vegan one was probably the best vegan meat substitute Iíve ever tried.
This is such an awesome place. I wish we wouldíve gone every day we were in LA. My girlfriend and I talk about it at least weekly still. Weíll definitely be back the next time weíre in L.A.
