| johnnnniee (50), Bedford, New Hampshire | | February 27, 2012 We had a little trouble finding this place, I guess they have just recently moved so don’t go to the College st location go to the Pearl St address next door to Fu Da Chinese restaurant. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside, it looks like a house sandwiched between two bigger buildings. Its a nice open space inside with high ceilings and exposed wood adorned with breweriana. A small loft up above and a large area towards the back with 2 pool tables and a Foosball table. Small L shaped bar sits against the right had wall. Decent tap selection of maybe 12 with a focus on VT brews. The night we went they only had one house brew on tap, a Munich Lager that was decent. I’m not sure if they are done brewing or if they are behind from the move? No food served and a college bar type feel to it. Prices seemed good.
| | hbmason (20), Shoreline, Washington | | November 13, 2011 Nice hole in the wall brew pub in downtown Burlington. Beer isn’t great but not too expensive either. If your in town worth a visit. | | LilBeerDoctor (185), East Setauket, New York | | May 14, 2011 Stopped here to escape the rain while waiting for American Flatbread to open. Apparently, in the 1st hour or so (until the keg kicks), this bar is known for selling $1 pints of "Duff beer" (looked like Otter Creek Copper Ale), so it is full of college-aged kids hoping to get a cheap pint. Good deal for the bartender ($150 in tips after 1 hour!). It was pretty hopping right at opening. I was probably the only one ordering the house beer (which was not good). No food here (except chips and premade sandwiches which are probably disgusting). Not really a great stop, their house offerings were sub-par and the atmosphere was less than desirable. But it served its purpose in sheltering me from the rainstorm outside. | | vodka4blood (13), Milton, Vermont, Vermont | | February 19, 2011 Im a beer-drinking weirdo, and Ill go ahead and say about this place what lots of Vermonters say when theyre being a bit non-commital/vague: "Not too bad". | | adnielsen (277), Fort Collins, Colorado | | October 22, 2010 Cool brewpub in downtown Burlington. I had some great beers here. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Burlington. | | williamstome (22), Somerville, Massachusetts | | October 17, 2010 Small selection, no food, but good in-house beer and a bare but hip atmosphere.

It feels more like an indie record store than a bar, mostly due to the lighting. The beer they have on tap is quite good, and it’s a cool place within walking distance of at least TWO other very good beer bars as well. | | Pivoyager (63), Gaithersburg, Maryland | | November 24, 2009 Your typical college dive bar that happens, in this case, to brew several of their own underwhelming beers. Skip it - go to American Flatbread. | | lalu (37), Laval, Quebec | | May 6, 2009 Thank god the other raters warned about the beer they brew...Cool little bar and very noisy.Still a fun atmosphere.Service was OK.I had Sierra Nevada on tap and tried a few sips of the home beers out of my friend’s glass. How do they get away with selling that stuff! The highlight of the night was the sour red ale.It tasted like they had infused it with Sourpuss Shooters.YUCK!
i had to go see for my self.Definitely try the guest beers they have. | | Lubiere (349), Ottawa, Ontario | | February 22, 2009 This place is homey, and ugly, in an interesting way. Homer Simpson is present everywhere (figurines, posters, etc...). The place is dirty and smells of beer on the floor. Remembered a stench of cigarettes but a few years back. The beer is mediocre, lacklustre, unfermented.... enough said. Beer is cheap. They do carry guest taps like trout river, etc...I recommend those. |
