Great put with some great British ales. A large selection of bottled Belgian beers available. Some excellent British traditional dishes available. I have tried the pork and Stilton sausage roll and the sheperd’s pie, both were excellent!

Visited many times over the years. Surprised to see I hadn’t reviewed the place before. Bit of a Cambridge institution - one of the cluster of back street pubs on the Mill Road patch, and arguably the best of the bunch. The range encompasses about a dozen casks - no permanent fixtures as far as I can recall - plus some craftier kegs, a smattering of proper ciders and a pretty large bank of bottles (mainly Belgian). Regular beer festivals too. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed and the pub has a comfortable, lived in feel - not especially smart but not scruffy either. There’s a very large (and very pleasant) garden out the back. They do food but I’ve never eaten here. An essential stop when in Cambridge.

A nice pub with a large back garden and a good beer selection. I remember it from a visit years ago, long before the smoking ban, when it had a no smoking policy (highly unusual in those days) and it was notable not only for a very good selection of beers but also a nice clean, sweet smelling atmosphere. It’s much the same now and the beer range remains good. (Last visited 21 May 2015).

Nice place, helpfull and knowledgeable staff. It has a nice garden with lots of place to have a beer. Located a bit out of the centre, close to some other good places. But it seems a bit more remote, in a more residential area. When entering you bump into an impressive setup of refrigerators with lots of bottles to pick from. They also have cask and keg beers.

Visited on a Tuesday afternoon. The first thing you see when you open the door is the bottle selection. A handful of refrigerators with Belgian (4xBoon and 1x Drie Fonteinen + Hanssens). Also some mediocre American stuff, some Germans. 12 kegs, 14 casks, but unfortunately only about half of the casks were in service at my visit. They had a busy Monday night. Friendly service, local newspaper on the tables, walls covered in beer/tobacco signs shit. There is a beer garden in the back and it seems like a pretty good place to hang out overall.

The perfect pub? It doesn’t exist. But this is close. 10 cask ales, about 10 keg, and loads of bottles. Add four cask ciders to the mix and you’re laughing. This is a great place for tickers. Settle down and explore the unknown in a calming, music-free environment. My one beef: occasionally some members of staff can seem that little bit more officious than enthusiastic, which has to bring the score down that little bit. Otherwise sublime.

Good, mixed selection. Lots of Belgian bottled beer and a variety of casks and kegs of UK beers. A bit of a hollow atmosphere. It seemed to be full of wealthy, fop students. It misses a bit of a vibe. Very expensive. I paid Ł2.80 for half a pint of an English pale ale which was not even that nice. Go here formticksmif you are wealthy.

Big friendly local pub, very spacy with a big patio out back. When you enter the premises you are met by a large doublel fridge filled with bottles from Europe, Belgian, Germans and some others. 14 cask lines and 12 kegs makes up the tap selection. Nice interior, and service minded personel

Cambridge Blue is easily one of the best pubs in Cambridge. The place itself is deceptively large... it has a smallish bar area at the front and then plenty of the seating that just keeps on going on towards the back. They have 8-12 cask ales on offer. On our visit these happened to be mostly Oakham, which made me very happy. The pub boasts a selection of over 100 bottles displayed in fridges at the front of the bar. This was comprised of mostly of Belgian beers - nothing much new for the power-rater, but decent nonetheless. Gets busy quite quickly due to the shape of the bar and then the service suffers unfortunately. Good place, but be prepared to wait a while for your drink!

Super hospoda s velmi velmi širokým výběrem piv z celého světa a velkou zahrádkou ve dvoře.
