Not a bad place with a reasonable selection of brews on tap (including local and international crafts). It is pretty popular so can get crowded. The food we had was excellent.

The clean cut lines of the decoration and the possibility to sit outside are some of the good aspects of this bar. If only they could baffle the crowd noise a bit, since its quite hard to have a conversation due to the resonance. Beer selection is great and often you get their range served in the proper glass (when they had duvel, you had it in a duvel tulip glass, etc). Pizzas are good but over time it seems that the dough to toping ratio has slightly increased.

Good selection of international beers, but not so interesting in the local department. The atmosphere is generally nice, but it can get very busy. Friendly staff, and okay food.

Reasonable food, very good selection of quality imported beers for a Canberra bar. Pleasant interior but exterior let down only by its location in one of Canberra’s bulky commercial districts. The beer is better value than the Belgian Beer Café, and even some bottle shops.

A bar located in Braddon. Has a good mix of tap and bottle beer (German, Belgian and the usual brands). The food is pretty good and has proper kithchen attached to it. There is no problem going in at 8am and having a pint with your bacon and eggs.

A cafe/bar located 10 minutes walk north of the city centre. A decent range of beers available with 12 taps and dozens of bottles. I didn’t notice any macros, the focus was on Aussie micros and a handful of Belgian and German ales. The food is good too and they open for breakfast each day, so you can even get your beer fix well before lunch! Works well for me.
