This place looks like a complete hell hole on first glance. When I walk in, there are always a bunch of folks sitting at the tables playing the lotto and eating nasty looking pizza from the heat lamp warmer. (no nice way to say that). The beer selection starts off looking like every other store in the beer desert that is my area. But as I migrate right from the domestics to the usual imports I suddenly start seeing sixers from North Coast, Left Hand, Rogue, New Belgium, Sierra Nevada and the like. Further right there are a bunch of singles from Schlafly, Southern Tier, Bear Republic, Rogue, La Chouffe, the folks that make the Delirium beers (can’t spell it), Avery, St. Bernardus, a few odd british beers, Bells (!), Great Divide (!) and the largest collection of Unibroue I’ve ever seen in one place (maybe 15 labels). Unbelievable selection for this part of the world. Better than what I can get in Memphis.
