Good vibe with a separate tap room. 50 taps on hand. Good place.

76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 16/20
Visited for dinner with the family later on a Thursday evening. More or less directly across the street from Pizza Port Carlsbad. Spanking new space with a big bar and bar area up front, with a restaurant section in the back of the house. The tap selection was pretty large, though nothing to unique or special. However, solid options abounded. Food menu was upper scale bar food. Service was prompt, knowledge and helpful. The place was pretty loud, though with a larger group that would not be much of an issue. Solid place.
76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Just up the street from Pizza Port. Large interior with plenty of seating in the bar area. Seemed to be a beer area right by the entrance and a more wine/cocktail area toward the back of the restaurant. Food smelled quite good, but we didn’t eat anything. Large tap list, but for the most part, pretty common beers. Worth a stop and seems like it could be a cool place to hang out.
