This place is amazing. My first place I went to in the area. A cool vibe here, some part pizza place, some part brewery, some part surfer hideout. Over 15 of their beers on tap, I tried them all! The service was the best I’ve even had bar none. The server kept bringing samples and explaining everything, she was very enthusiastic about the beer. Didn’t eat there, but I should have. A slice of pizza is 2 bucks! Just an amazing place.

Great spot. The beer list and overall vibe spoke to me and any beer nerd I can imagine as being world class. Reasonable prices, easy atmosphere.. The pizza was pretty good and the wings kind of sucked to be honest. But otherwise, i’d go here all the time if it was in NYC.

pretty good pizza place athmosphere and decent pizza. seating was long picnic tables so everyone blends into thenext group. it was packed on the weekend we went. 15ish beers on tap but some amazing beers to find!

We pretty much spent an entire day here at Pizza Port Carlsbad on our first visit. The place is surprisingly spacious and has a large bar area to the left hand side, kitchen straight ahead and small arcade area to the right. During the day the place had a great laid-back atmosphere, which is really why we spent a lot of time there. In the evening (even on a Monday) it gets pretty damn busy, but enjoyable nonetheless. The tap menu is displayed above the bar and is separated into brewed on site and guests. Over 30 beers available on keg and also 2 from cask. The guest selection included some very interesting stuff from Alesmith, The Bruery and Lost Abbey amongst others. They also had some pretty experimental stuff brewed on site: a bright pink IPA, cask imp stout with coffee and a cask imp stout with pepper and chocolate! The food was delicious -great pizza, chicken wings and mac n cheese bites! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Easily one of the best places we visited in California.

Stopped by with the kids after a trip to Legoland. Kids love the pizza and mom and dad love the pizza and the beer. This is a big place, so plenty of room during non peak times. Some of the best brew pub beer I have ever had, plus the guest brew are nice. Wish there was a few rarer selections on there, but they did have a nice sour. Like the laid back vibe. Don’t forget to check the bottle shop next door.

I love this place. This is the very first place I came to when we moved to Carlsbad in 1998. Though I go to the Solana Pizza Port more often, I still enjoy stopping by here when possible. Getting down to it, this is a beach side pizza place. You should know what the atmosphere and the food is like based on that. The beer selection is great. They always mix it up, but more often than not, I’m drinking a Port beer.

Beer is great and unique to it’s location. The brewery tanks are in open view. The food is great. Although family friendly does not apply to me personally, it is cool this is a family friendly place. It is awesome they also serve half pints and those behind the bar are definitely knowledgable on their beers which is super awesome. We were also very happy to chat/see some of the brewers while there. I imagine this is common. Great place!

Looks a lot like the PP, Ocean Beach. Big eating area full of picnic tables. Great tap list of Pizza Port and guest beers. Pizza is great.

This was my favorite Pizza Port out of the 4 in town. Large open space with a large patio relative to the other PP’s. Same layout as the others. One line for food and the other for beer. This place has a great tap list for brewed beers on site and a great guest tap list as well that rotates often.

My brother and I visited here this past Saturday and Sunday. I think the vibe outside carries inside. No different here. A really nice town on the beach and has a great local crowd on evening weekends. Families come in here for pizza and beer. Service is divided into lines that is just ok. But they are super effecient running it this way. Beer selection is great, pizza tastes great. Prices are in line with what you would expect for a pizza joint and the beers are awesome. Overall a great place.
