The selection is pretty good here, but the prices are rather high. This is a store that sells both booze and gourmet food, so the real advantage here is being able to buy delicious food under the same roof as craft beer.

A high end liquor and gourmet Whestore in Carmel. Lots of wines and liquor (especially scotch). Beer is located in the back. When I was there the walk in beer cooler was being worked on and the chilled beer was sitting in carts in the warm store. The beer had to have been sitting there for a while since all the beer was at room temp. A little pricey to boot. I think I’ll fight traffic and go to Crown than to visit this place.

I love Vine & Table, the staff is always helpful and very knowledgable in all areas, vine sprits and beer. They host great events and specials all the time. If you live in the indianapolis area you need to make this place a stop.

This is an extensive gourmet market, wine, liquor, and beer store. The top feature here is that all of their beer is in a large walk-in cooler. On the outside of the cooler was a sign stating that as of a week ago, the store was no longer breaking up packs of beer, which may be a bit disappointing for future visitors. That said, they were selling off their remaining singles for a dollar each, and how often do you find Raison D’Extra (yes, the one that’s normally $8 a bottle) for one dollar? Even better, we had a coupon for essentially half off of that. So the prices worked out for us. Aside from that, we were able to find a solid selection of beers from Indiana and other places that we can’t get in Michigan.

Best selection on northside Indy. Very knowledgeable beer expertise, although markets as high end wine / cheese shop. Lots of tastings from spirits to beer. Bit pricey, but they have it all.

I stopped by Kahn’s while they were having a tasting, which consisted of some mighty fine stuff! They had a colossal selection of beers that I spent a good half an hour picking through.. Unfortunately I was on business without my car, so I couldn’t take much back with me. They had a lot of stuff that I’d never seen before and/or couldn’t get. The service seemed kind, but rushed, which I’m sure had to do with the tasting. Great place to stop!

A small store, with a good selection of wines and beers. A very large walk in cooler and plenty of unchilled beers, as well. And a great specialty cheese (and other foods) shop is attached. Really a great store! EDIT: Now that it has switched from Kahn’s to Vine and Table, I’d make a few more comments. First, the staff is very helpful and enthusiastic. The only reason I don’t give them top marks for service is because, despite the enthusiasm, they aren’t as knowledgeable about beer as I’d like them to be. BUT...they’re clearly trying to gain that knowledge, and that counts for something. Their weekly beer tastings (FREE!) are a plus, as well. I do think that the selection has slipped a bit since it changed hands, though it’s hard to say since I was living out of state during most of my visits to Kahns and am in state now that it’s V&T. Of course, some things are out of their hands, such as Great Lakes no longer being distributed in the area.

Stopped in here today before heading home to Ohio...WOW...Superstore is RIGHT. I have never seen such a clean, organized and well stocked store! LOTS OF BEER!!! Excellent selection and the shelves were BEAUTIFULLY stocked. Prices were several dollars below what we have in Ohio and I found several things we can not get here...

I visited their new Keystone location today... ROOMY! They probably had 20 of the Top 50 on hand. The beer was kept cold behind 21 doors and they had four rows of warm singles the entire length of the 21 doors. The owner, Jim, was VERY helpful... he took the time to search for some beers on my list in the back room. Great store... a MUST see when in Indianapolis!

This store is moderately sized, but packed completely full with a crazy clutter of beer and wine everywhere. This kind of makes the beer hunting resemble a treasure hunt. I couldn’t discern any real organization here, but I can definitely work with that given the excellent selection. There are plenty of local/regional craft brews as well as imports. The coolers are filled with many six packs and bombers are located on several shelves in the middle of the store. I found quite a few bottles that I’ve never seen before. I had a question about a beer which had a very uninformative label. The employee couldn’t provide an answer, but I very much appreciated the fact that he admitted to simply not knowing any real information about this rare beer rather than making up something or telling me something generic like, "oh, that’s a strong beer". Anytime they could provide useful information to me, they were ready to do so. I had a great beer shopping experience here.
