The store is a bit crowded, but the selection for wine and beer is pretty good. However, you are going to pay a couple bucks more for what you can get for cheaper at places like Total Wine and other stores. But, that is to be expected here since it’s not a one stop shop for just alcohol.

Moderate sized Whole Foods. Parking is tight as it is at nearly all WFM locations. Friendly service though no one asked me if I needed help in the beer section. Very nice beer selection, with local beers well represents, some nice surprises such as Cantillon, and plenty of other good stuff. Some nice sales. You can break any six pack, as they have a build your own section AND a separate single section for pricier beers. The second best Triangle area WFM for beer selection behind Raleigh.

I consistently found good stuff here while working in Cary. The selection of locals is great, they get fairly rare stuff once in awhile, and it was close to my hotel. The tfood is good, but I usually hit the Greek restaurant down the road. Service is very good.

I thought this Whole Foods wasn’t as extensive as the location in Raleigh. Less NC beer is available here and I couldn’t find a 12 0z. single bottle shelf, though I didn’t look too hard. I couldn’t find the Whole Foods brand beer either, maybe it was hidden somewhere in the area that I didn’t skim over. Picked up a small amount of snack food though. Good stuff.

Fairly new looking building, modern construction, it’s a grocery store so I’m not getting carried away here. I’ve never had a chance to talk to anyone here about beer (or anything else for that matter) and the staff seems to shy away from saying hi and asking if I need help with anything. They have been nice at the register and if they get in my way. Good selection it’s either 20 feet or 24 feet of shelf space being 5 shelves high, plus a small fridge with singles. A few stacks mixed in wine area of spotlighted brewers. Couple side stacks on various aisles. Kind of lacks for NC beers overall. Decent diversity of beer overall though. Do have the Whole Foods brews made by North Coast though. Scored food as it’s a grocery store, a better one at than most in area. Just surprised at the lack of North Carolina micros overall. Not as good as the Raleigh location.
