Thoughtful selection of regional French ales right in the center of Cassel. Local cheeses and meats too. A man could live well in a hotel on the square, self-catering from here by day and drinking in the Kerelshof by night. Lady got a bit upset when I snapped a photo, though. A good sign, maybe, that they arenĺt used to tourists (yet).

A great little bottle shop on the small square at the heart of this excellent small hill town, run by locals for all-comers. It is a delicatessen too with cheeses, charcuterie and potted casseroles. Most of the beers are French micros with a few Belgian. A majority are in 75cl bottles.
