If I’m in a hurry and need nothing complicated, I go to Montgomery Plaza. The beer selection is very limited and slanted toward American mass-produced lagers. But, they do a volume business, so the stock moves and is quite fresh. They carry a limited selection of Magic Hat, Dogfish Head, Flying Dog, Anchor, Otter Creek, and every now and then surprise me with something unexpected. Nothing to write home about in terms of the depth of their craft brews (in terms of brewery selection), but there ALWAYS is something there worth buying.

Will do in a pinch for a few interesting beers if you’re in the area. Will find Allagash, Clipper City, Stoudt’s to name a few. Doesn’t look like they’ll sell singles. They seem to have a little niche w/ Eastern European beers.
