I go to this pubs quite a lot as itís always a good meeting place and I have a fondness for the brewery. A largish pub so nonally some space amongst the tourists and always a cheery atmosphere. If you stick to the taps the pretty good value - although I was surprised the first time I ordered bottlez in a Sam Smithís pub. Not a particulalry attractive or trendy pub but I like it (the booths are always good to sit in with a bunch of mates).

Tourist/young person trap across the street from the National Gallery et al, but a cozy interior. Had lunch here as we had just gotten off the plane and were starving. Decent steak and kidney pie and fish and chips, and the beer tasted just fine. Bartender was actually a sweetheart and was doing a commendable job as the only server/bartender during lunch. As Leighton mentioned, go to the Harp, but this place wasnít bad.

Classic styled medium sized English pub, quite old. Lots of wood. Some locals, some tourists. Dusty and musty atmosphere. Quite a lot of sam smiths available, which is ok. I prefer more modern styled English bars.

We had some beers at The Harp nearby, but headed for this spacious pub for lunch. The dining area is upstairs and quite nice. One cask beer but several keg beers and lots of bottles. Got a couple of Sam Smithís ticks and a decent meal. (Visited February 28th 2014)

Atmospheric pub near St Martin in the Fields. Sam Smithís, so the cask ale is cheap but the bottles are incredibly dear. Try the upstairs bar, where you can people-watch out the window.

Visited this pub lots of times, and itīs almost a must to go for a fish and chips and an Old Brewery Best Bitter, whenever I am in London with my parents :-). The pub has a very cost, relaxed atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and it seems people come here to have a good time and meet up with friends. Beers are in good condition, the food is traditionel pub menu, and it is rather cheep, baring in mind where this pub is placed.. And we will be back next time, we all go to London..

Fairly nice Sam Smithís, less scruffy than many, very packed with tourists near Trafalgar Square.

Been here so many times on different visits over the years, and I always enjoying having a pint in this elegant but fairly relaxing setting. Right in the thick of tourist central (and hey, Iím a tourist) but nice if you hit it at the right time. Selection isnít the greatest but I have a soft spot for this brewery and its pubs. Certainly a good place to stop if youíre in the area for food and/or museums.

Typical Sam Smiths pub, but in tourist area London. Old Brewery Bitter the only cask beer (as normal in Sam Smiths), but plenty of keg beers of theirs to try and bottles of course. I was in there on the Saturday of The Boat Race, so lots of Posh Toffs in the place. That however was countered by a huge number of Grimsby Town football fans who had just had a photo shoot and sing song in Trafalgar Square, a 100 metres down the road. The place was rammed, but the staff managed very well and everyone including the staff, appeared to be enjoying themselves. Still a very cheap drinking hole, just like all Sam Smiths pubs. I have used it again when it wasnít Boat Race Day, but it was still busy because of its location and prices.

A Sam Smith house with all the usual beers but perhaps not all the usual character most S. Smith pubs have. Typically damn busy in the evenings with youngsters and tourists. Beers are cheap as per the S. Smith standard. This place doesnít come close to comparing with The Harp, which is just a two-minute walk east. If youíre desperate for beer and The Harp [for whatever reason] isnít an option, you can come here instead.
