February 22, 2012 Very good selection of tap beer from the Southeast region and elsewhere. Barkeeper was knowledgeable and gladly poured samples prior to ordering.
The food menu is pretty limited and I did not order food. |

January 7, 2012 [ Updated January 31, 2012 ] Cozy place with a fake fireplace and some comfy chairs. Relatively cheap, with 10 oz beers available. The servers were friendly and helpful, and seemed generally knowledgeable. My food was good, my dads food wasn’t as good. About 6 or 7 local draft options. Also, the bathroom was wallpapered with old beer book pages. Classic. I was there in the winter outside of "college season", but the server said they attracted more of a "grad school" crowd. We went further up on King St. later in the night and I think I understood what she meant. Great place, absolutely worth checking out. |

October 1, 2011 Great atmosphere and good beer selection. Where else are you going to find Mikeller on draft in the low country. Great ambiance and decor. Very cool place to hang out in, good food, and great tunes. |

March 10, 2011 Good beer selection, and they seem to rotate in new beers frequently. Seems to run the gamut from fairly safe widely distributed options to local (Coast) and harder to find brews. Food is superb, not really your typical bar fare. |

January 27, 2011 I have been twice. The selection is very good compared to what is typically available in the Charleston downtown area bars/pubs. The food is good; the burger I had was great.
A very laid back atmosphere. One of only places I have seen in SC that serves beer by the liter, which is a nice reminder of travels to Bravaria and the bier hauses.
Worth checking out for good craft beer and above average grub. |

September 5, 2010 Very cool little spot in Charleston sort of near the college. The ambiance is hip and inviting, we were here early in the day and just had a beer before heading on to the next place. We sat at a table and our server was great. Selection was good, not stunning, but one of the better in Charleston. COAST, Stone, Bear Republic and a few others were represented. I didn’t get any food. I would really like to come back at night and soak int he place a little more. |

August 2, 2010 Sat at the bar and had a Ommegang Zuur and a Foothills Pale Ale that was on special. Had about 12 decent beers on tap with a side board that tells you what was coming soon to the tap so i assume they change to different beers pretty regularly. The bartender was a little bit overwhelmed or stoned, i couldn’t really tell and he served my Zuur in the wrong glass. Girlfriend asked for a liquor drink and got the response that they were more of a beer bar, so she ordered a soda. Nice place for beer but nothing else...so yinz guys should check it out. |
