This was my favorite place to drink when i lived in Charleston. Located in West Ashley it is a bit of a drive from CHS proper but it is well worth it. Good food and great bottle selection with a rotating draft list.

Standard dive bar ambiance with some pool tables and board games for amusement. The beer list is better than the average dive bar, that’s for sure. I had some fears about the age of some of the bottles in the cooler. I had a crawdad po’ boy which was of standard pub grub quality. Really my experience was very typical for visiting a dive bar. I didn’t think the tap list was so outstanding that I would skip other places in the area which appeal more to my taste for a return visit.

Stopped in here when we were in Charleston. Excellent selection of local taps. Typical bar food. Pretty reasonable prices. Nice.

Great dive bar ambiance. Good french fries and beer. Bartenders don’t have much to say to anyone and don’t look too happy - but the service is great. They have games you can play at your table like Scrabble which makes this place fun for a group. Always quality beers and clean beer lines.

One of my favorite bars in Charleston. Great atmosphere - inviting for people who just want to hang out at a bar. They have Scrabble, Connect 4, Operation, pool, darts, etc. Tons of bottled beers and some 15 taps. I usually get a 90 minute on tap. Sometimes have Coast available. A must try in West Ashley.
