Stopped here on a Thursday afternoon and it was very quiet (at one point, just 2 other patrons were there). They have a pretty decent tap list, mostly all locals (Foothills, Olde Hickory, OMB, Four Friends, Highland) also had some New Belgium offerings. They were having an Abita event the next week. The food was good - I got a southwestern chicken salad which was superb. The pizzas looked really good too. I enjoyed my time here, and as a traveler, I found it a good stop to try some local beers. There may be better places in Charlotte, but this is probably the best bar if you’re uptown.

I am not sure why people go crazy over this place. the list is just a little better than macros. why go here when they have great pizza and much much better beer and true beer experts at vintners and pizza peel?
