A fantastic beer selection by any measure, both draught and bottle. It’s more wine bar than anything, and very suburb adult lifestyle at that. But if that’s not your thing the beer and friendly service will more than make up for it. Tons of local and small American brewery stuff not normally seen in my travels. The import selection is very well curated. it’s not huge but it is well selected. They have cheeses, snacks.

I had no idea how much i loved shopping for beer with a beer in my hand. Great on tap, prices range from average to slightly high. Not bad, old repaged stout stock which i love

Modern place with a wide variety of draft beers, and of course you can buy a bottle out of one of the fridges, or off the shelves, and drink it on premises. They have a handful of unusual finds that I haven’t seen at other stores in the area, and their prices are lower than the places closer to the city center. Worth a stop.

This is a wine-first store but does have plenty of beer. If you desire a pint while you shop there is a bar inside with plenty of quality taps. Last I checked, due to NC state law which only allows breweries to fill growlers, growlers are not available here. Beer prices are on the higher end, especially for singles. I didn’t find anything super rare, but there is a good selection.

Very nice little place tucked away in a high end strip mall. Nice beer selection and a small bar in the back corner with a very nice tap selection. Had Struise Damnation IV and BR Ryevalry on tap. Pints were appropriate priced and all the bottles were available as singles which was awesome. The only problem with this place is the food. I ordered the short rib sliders with chips which I must say was an absolute rip off for $12. 3 of the smallest sliders I have ever seen and all it was just rewarmed dryed out short ribs with a bowl of well seasoned chips. If you are going to charge $12 for small portions it should at least taste good and not just reheated. Granted this is not a restaurant, but don’t charge those type of prices then. Next time I would go with a cheese and meat platter instead. Definitely worth a stop for beers, but I would grab a bite somewhere else first.

This place is a nice spot to buy beer. It’s split basically in half the left side being beer the right side being wine. Plenty of singles in the coolers and lots more on the warm shelf. Great selection of locals as well as a nice bit of semi-obsure stuff. Oddball Hitachino, Fantome, Mikkeller, etc beers. The prices are nice as is the focus on singles. The staff was very freindly both times we went in and seemed pretty enthusiastic about beer, so that’s always nice. There is a bar in the back with really nice tap offerings. If you pay cash you get a discount so that’s a plus as well. I really wish I had a place like this round Des Moines.

I have heard good things about this place so I figured that I would check it out for myself. Located in a strip center, it is easy to overlook with all of the other nondescript shops. The place has a small European boutique feel. More focused on wine than beer, they still have a very respectable beer selection. The atmosphere is laid back and comfortable. All of the beer is priced as singles, with the prices clearly marked, which is a huge plus. The selction is quite extensive, if fact it may be as good as Brawleys in that aspect. I think the biggest draw is the bar with around 16 taps, all of them devoted to craft. The draft prices are fairly reasonable, but the bottle prices seem a little high. Overall, this is a terrific place to come have a couple of beers and buy a hard to find bottle or two. I think Brawleys may still have the edge for my normal everyday purchases, but this is a nice place to have a beer while shopping.

Just about perfect really when it comes to beer. Great well chosen selection 16 awesome taps and hundreds of bottles to choose from. Jeremy knows his stuff and loves to share a beer with fellow beer lovers. Give the place a try you should not be disappointed.

Now with eight taps with a couple of new beers on every week, and a beer club with rewards for every 20 beers. And of course, Jeremy, who is usually one side of the bar or other.
