Swedens goverment owned monopoly, for selling Beer & other alcoholic beverages.
Usually and generally have a good assortment, with prices dictated by taxes rather than: profit, availability and popularity.
So rare hard to come by beverages CAN!!! be found at modest prices.

Sweden is a bit strange in that everything over 3.5% is only available at the state controlled Systembolaget. As usual the staff is not very knowledgable about beer or their own selection, but I the selection is better than compared to most Vinmonopolet shops in Norway and the price is very low compared to Norway. Highly reccommended shop for beer-lovers in the Oslo-areay in Norway as it is about 2 hours drive from Oslo, Norway. |
