Pretty confused as to why this is in here. Yes, it is a Murphy establishment so Gahan House beers are (sometimes) available. But it has fewer beers than the Gahan House itself, which is just one street over. And there are other Murphy establishments, too. The room is nice and there is a patio in front. Cool raw bar behind the bar, and certain seafood apps are made in front of you at the bar, where we sat. However, 2 beers were on tap- Keith’s and Bud Light. Bottles were slim pickings, so we got a couple Oland Schooners. The food was good but holy smokes was it overpriced. Mussels were fair at $11 but $21 for a little basket of fried clams, slaw, and fries- they’re out of their minds. That’s $10 too high. Everything else was more like a few dollars too high. Beers were actually the best value when measured up against the food here, since this wasn’t any sort of fancy place. For beer or a meal, you could do much better at several places within a one-block radius.

Fishbones is a nice Oyster Bar and Jazz Resto. If you are on the island for more than a couple of days - its nice to have an alternate venue with the same Gahan microbrewed beers. You see, Charlottetown is fairly small and most of the restaurants are owned and known as "Murphy Establishments" (as is Gahan House) - I heard up to 75% of the restaurants. So there is no shortage of Gahan distribution in the area: Jake’s Kitchen, Fishbones, even the Delta Hotel. I like the scenery and change of crowds found here, its more dressed-up and sophisticated - as are the prices.

I ordered the Chicken Lobster Supreme ($18) though the Atlantic Salmon ($17), All-U-Can-Eat Mussels for only $9.99 and 99 cent oysters (with the purchase of a beverage every day from 2-4pm) were tempting!

Enjoy live Jazz by City Stages every evening on Victoria Row.
