March 25, 2012 Stopped in for a beer on the way back to my hotel. More of a restaurant than a brewpub. had 6 beers on tap with some type of wheat seasonal. Had the IPA which was decent. Atmosphere was kind of corporate and cold. Service was below average. Would not go out of my way to go here. Better off hitting the downtown location and some of the other bars and restaurants within walking distance. |

July 11, 2010 [ Updated October 6, 2011 ] Pretty standard mall-type restaurant - it doesn’t really have the ambiance or quirkiness of the downtown location. It all the regular Big River beers and the service and food was pretty good. |

May 31, 2010 Visit to Chattanooga for business. Good location in Hamilton Place with parking in front. Small bar on right inside with windows open to patio in front. Restuarant and was clean and service was fast and responsive. Beer selection is corporate with seasonal brews. The Maibock was on tap. Well worth a visit and easier to get a parking place and seat then downtown. |

December 22, 2009 This is a pretty nice restaurant, just slightly more upscale than the downtown location with more emphasis on fine dining. The beer selection seemed to be identical to the other location with a seasonal on tap and the standard lineup of beers. The place was packed, but we still received good service with no real wait. We tried the absolutely delicious blue crab-stuffed chicken with rice pilaf and the mediocre shrimp and grits. The menu is solid but does not sport any cheap items. It is a little more difficult getting a good beer in the mall area of Chattanooga, so this makes for a decent watering hole in the area. However, if I was anywhere near the downtown area I’d rather go there. |

July 21, 2009 Like everyone has mentioned, smaller, same beers, same restaurant. Parking is less of a bitch. Had all but one of the beers available at the downtown location at that time. |

June 8, 2008 Smaller, but newer than the downtown location. They have the same beers as downtown that get trucked in. I agree with the fewer people comment. A nice little place with the same menu as downtown. I sat by the tap handles and watched them get covered in ice and defrost several times while at the bar. Something I haven’t seen at a bar before. |

May 12, 2007 [ Updated July 26, 2007 ] I like this one better than the downtown location...which is way past its prime and played out. Out of towners...go here instead. |

November 17, 2006 A smaller version of the downtown Big River. Its good this is right by my house but it lacks the atmosphere of the downtown location. No pool tables and less people. Its more of a straight up sit down restaurant atmosphere. They don’t brew on site but have all the same beers as downtown. Not a bad place but not as cool as downtown. |
