| justinwmaynard (10), Chicago, Illinois | | January 28, 2012 Blokes and Birds is a pretty solid bar, considering its location. The only bar on Clark I would visit for excellent craft beer. The owner is a cool cat, and his wait staff are fun and personable. | BluePhish (1), Chicago, Illinois does not count - explanation | | December 9, 2011 Always a good time, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Pretty chill vibe overall, especially upstairs. Great value on drafts, bottle value varies. Not a massive selection but something for everyone and they get good rare taps frequently and have nice cask ales on fridays. Worth a look. | | NobleSquirrel (161), Chicago, Illinois | | October 17, 2011 Stopped in here last Friday and was pretty impressed. Not totally my scene, but it was kinda dead when I was there. Really nice cocktails and the bartenders are pretty cool, some knowledge of the beers as well. Draft selection is pretty solid, especially for the area and the taps seem to turn over. Clean lines as well. If you’re stuck in Wrigleyville, this is another spot to add to the list. Will be back for food next time. | | drdisque (24), Illinois | | September 17, 2011 [ Updated September 20, 2011 ] Gastropub with small plate fare and a fair amount of British microbrew/small brews along with a few Belgians and American micros. Don’t know how often the taps rotate as it was my first time there and they don’t have their draught list online (only bottles). My Tripel Karmeleit was served in the branded glass. All the food we had was good and the prices were reasonable. Not a top beer destination but worth checking out. |
