Full disclosure, a friend of mine is the chef here. That being said, I’ll carry on. Pretty large list of exclusively bottles. Allegedly, they’ve been thinking about adding taps for a couple of years now, but haven’t. Why, I don’t know... Anyway, the bottle list is pretty broad but not deep. Lots of varieties but not really anything that you would dig for. Prices aren’t bad at all. Regarding the food, very impressive. Nice blend of new American and re-concepted bar food. House charcuterie is excellent. Pretty chill crowd overall. Worth hitting for food and a good beer, not beer alone.

Stopped by here late night with Sean and the ladies after Hot Chocolate was too crowded. A trendy looking place and crowd. We made our way to the back and found a table right next to a fireplace picture frame. Comfortable chairs with a cool looking table. The art work was a bit much for me, a giant picture of half eaten ding dongs isn’t art... The beer list is pretty decent, about 50 bottles or so, organized by country. They had about 10 special or new beers that rotate that they seemingly use as a draft list. They have no drafts here which is a big negative in my book. The beers they did have were pretty quality, Cantillon Kriek among others, but nothing that would have me come back just for the beer... The service was pretty shoddy, didn’t come around much, didn’t have any suggestions or know much about beer. This is super close to me but I doubt I’d be back unless they had some crazy tasting. Maproom and Bristol are much closer, with better selections.

Visited on a quiet Tuesday night. The kitchen was closing so we didn’t have any food but the specials board looked rather creative. Solid bottled beer list. Our group of 4 ordered a Bruery Rugbrod and a Saison Rue. Noticed that they had some Cantillon, De Proef and de la Senne beers. I honestly can’t remember if they had tap beer at all. I seem to think that they just had bottles, but the bottle list was rather extensive probably pushing 100. The bottled list seemed to be focused on Belgian beers wit a good dose of English, Italian, Canadian, etc European bottles. I liked the setting. A very quietly lit bar with a back room that was closed off for the night. A smallish place that had a lot of exposed brick and candles lighting the tables and bar. I’d really like to go back and explore the food.
