Ambiance? Does this matter? Enter through metal barred door on to grimy linoleum in to harshly fluorescent lit bodega. Along the back wall and one side are coolers full of a great selection of domestic and import micros. FFF, Founders, Great Lakes, Port/LA, Goose, and the norms are all represented alongside Laughing Dog, Boulevard, Big Sky and other breweries who are less represented in this area. Nobody’s ever offered to help me find anything, but I’ve never wanted any help. Cashiers don’t seem to know anything about beer, but they don’t need to IMHO. Solid selection, decent prices, no bells or whistles.

I go here pretty often as it is right on my way home from work. It has gotten a lot better in the last 3 years or so. Prices are high, but they have a huge selection and some rare stuff sometimes. Lots of bombers and singles. Like I said, a little pricey, but they usually have something interesting. Bring cash if you are spending less than $10. If you are like me, your bill will be over $10, no problem.

Stumbled across this place after leaving Revolution... looks like an ethnic liquor store, reminds me of Puerto Rico Food & Liqours... about 15 coolers, filled mostly with sixers, but they had a dedicated section of singles by style... great and varied selection, they had a lot of beers that I haven’t seen at other stores, a 6 pack of Bell’s Batch 10, TNP, Utopias, and plenty of Three Floyd’s AK, PJ and RB...downside is that despite the great selection prices are about 20% more than anywhere else and a lot of the beers didn’t seem to be fresh

Very much an urban liquor store, quite a few coolers of beer and racks of craft. Decent German selection, a lot of craft bombers. Overall a decent selection. The store is located directly across the street from Revolution, so its certainly worth stopping for a local and out of towner alike. If you are looking for something rare or special, this is probably not your place.

A bit of a diamond in the rough across the street from Revolution. Tons of bombers, everything is refrigerated. They also have a few Polish meads as well. It’s location is convenient and the selection is pretty good. I’d check here if you can’t find what you’re looking for at Binny’s because they sold out.

I used to frequent this place when I had a buddy who lived nearby. That was several years ago and the selection has improved quite a bit since then. Lots of bombers on hand and refrigerated to boot. This is right across the street from Revolution Brewing so if you stop by there but you might a well stop by here. It is more expensive than Binny’s and I’m not sure there’s much you can get at one place and not the other so if you’re already taking trips to Binny’s regularly this isn’t worth going out of the way for.

i never would have guessed the selection contained inside this store existed. one of the north sides better spots, huge selection of american craft as well as belgians and germans. prices are not the greatest but thats to be expected. found some haand bryggeriet! after i saw about 50% of the coolers i was satisfied, i had no idea they continued aroudn teh corner with more in store. definately worth a stop if in the area, and if you found yourself stuck in the area and in need of a drink, you will find plenty here to keep you happy.

2010: Huge expansion, 6-8 more cooler doors of craft bombers and imports. Best selection in a 2 mile radius. This is the best beer spot in Logan Square. The majority of the beer is in the coolers, check out the 2 doors of bombers and 750s on the end corner. Its a diamond in the rough, but the beer buyer is doing a great job here. Seasonals, good range of Belgians, plenty of micro bombers. Lots of cooler space devoted to imports. Small selection of glassware, and generally someone around to help out.

For a local joint this place has a reat selection. Nothing that you wont see at the bigger places, but more than most shops of this type. Almost everything is chilled already.

Not the biggest selection in Chicago, but if you live in the area they carry a fair number of good beers and other spirits. The prices are fair and they have a good 30 linear feet worth of cooler space dedicated to beer. Probably the best place in the Logan Square area.
